7Customer service for Taste furniture leaves alot to be desired, when there is a faulty product you have to write in and wait for a response 3 days later needing to call and follow up, and now to be told its a four week wait for the faulty product, just not acceptable.
My wife and I were looking for a tv cabinet to match some existing furniture. We found a unit we liked but the colour wasn't a match. Steve and the team went out of their way to order a unit which had not been stained and then found a polisher to do the job locally. The result was spot on and the unit was of high quality. Could not have been happier with the service.
There isn't too much to complain about the comfort of these couches.
The warranty promises on these couches are an absolute scam. After being promised a 5 year warranty on accidental and pet damage they could not deliver on these promises. After a request of compensation for this I was only offered a refund of the extended warranty charge which does not cover the cost of repair.
The customer service in this area was poor and quite frustrating that they didn't provide a helpful solution.
My partner and I bought a couch from Taste Furniture late may this year. Once we got it home and set it up we noticed the seat and the arm of the chair were not joint correctly and when opening the recliners, it would drag on the floor. We could hear rattling when sitting on the couch so we checked underneath and could see that there were missing bolts. We called Taste Furniture who directed us to report the fault via email which we did, however received no correspondence. We called again and they directed us to forward the email to the manager of after sales which we did but still no correspondence. We called again to complain and they said they would send an email on our behalf but we still didn’t hear anything. Weeks went by so I went into the Main North Road store, a gentleman said he would follow it up but still didn't hear anything. I went into the store again seeking further action to be taken. The store manager said to forward the emails to her and she would speak to after sales personally and get back to us. That was 3 weeks ago and we still have not heard anything. To make matters worse the electric recliners have now both stopped working. This was a 10,000 couch and although we bought it on sale this should not happen. When you’re spending this kind of money you expect to receive not only a high quality lounge but the best quality service. We could not be more disappointed and furious with how we have been treated.
Well I went here today and had the best sales man ever. He turned my entire thoughts around I bought two items $1500 and now will buy another $4 thousand in new leather lounges and coffee table. This is not because the name of the store or reputation it was because of the lovely Asian salesman Steve. Thank you for my shopping experience today.
