Tanunda Cottages reviews
9Cozy 2 bedroom cottages with a lounge/dining area and small kitchen. A great alternative to a hotel, and very relaxed vibe to base your Barossa trip from. Located a short walk from the centre of Tanunda.
Booked out the Winery Cottage and the 3 smaller cottages for a special birthday weekend away with family. Was perfect location with easy walk to cafes and restaurants, the cottages were well appointed and we all enjoyed our wines tasting experience at Underground just next door! Would recommend for multiple family groups!
Stayed with my extended family (total of 5) and we were very comfortable there. Everything is included with your stay, just wish the previous BBQ user had cleaned up after themselves! Excellent position, close to town. It was the middle of picking season, could even hear forklifts working nearby at the working winery. Ashley was most helpful when I left something behind and offered to mail it back to me. House was previously the home of Grant Burge's family, how authentic is that!
Sweet cottages, very homely. Generous breakfast supplies. A big tick from me for using proper doona covers (not the sheet wrapping thing used in so many places today). Easy walking distance to town. Bike path nearby which, heading towards Nooriootpa will take you to the rail trail - keep an eye out for the sign.
Cute little cottage that centrally located to shops and dining. Only issue was road noise. If you book direct you get a gift.
Lovely place to stay in the heart of the Barossa, with lots of lovely touches. Highly recommended.
We stayed 3 nights in cottage #2 right at the front. Lovely cozy place! We appreciated the complimentary breakfast. The kitchen is basic with 2 stoves and a microwave with all the plates & glasses we will need. The only downside of this accommodation for us was the beds being extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. You can also hear a lot of the noise from the traffic since the cottage faces the main road and the windows are not double glazed. Despite this, we had a lovely stay but will probably not come back.
Our 2-night stay in Tanunda was exceptional! It is right in the middle of Tanunda town, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the famous Tanunda bakery. The cottage felt like home, pantry was well stocked up with breakfast essentials which we didn't expect but thoroughly enjoyed. There was also a complimentary wine, that was a bonus! Trina and the ladies were so pleasant and helpful during our entire stay. Wish we could stay longer, we love the cottage so much!
