T-Chow Chinese Restaurant reviews
50 Amazing food. We’ve been twice in the one week. Yummiest braised beef hotpot and also the pork and scallion hotpot.
Had a duck dish last time which was delicious, as are their thin egg noodles.
Consistent food quality. Friendly staff and prompt service. Our family has a new favourite!
Not great chinese. I would say this caters for the westerners. Waiters are very young and run around in tshirts jeans and joggers. Wouldn't take ppl here if you wanted to make a good impression.
Horrible, Horrible and Horrible customer experience. I would not Recommend this place, the lady who was serving us looked so annoyed that she was serving free food. We did complain, however they were least interested.
It is a shame you own a business and you don’t care about your customers
Your average kind of Chinese restaurant. Cant expect too much. Food was pretty good. Seating is quite cramped and a lot of people are in one space, but the service is friendly and is good if youre craving some chinese.
Food was okay, Service was horrendous.took them 15 minutes in an empty restaurant, to bring us some chilli oil.
The best YUM CHA in Adelaide in my opinion.
I’ve gone to T-Chow on a few different occasions and it remains my favourite spot for Yum Cha to this day.
The food is always consistently excellent every time we go and there is plenty of seating and quite a spacious restaurant if you wanted to bring the family.
They rice wraps, green beans and salt and pepper squid are amazingly flavourful and are staples when I dine there.
There hasn’t been a dish I’ve ordered that wasn’t at a high standard. They have an array of traditional Chinese foods that if you won’t like there you won’t like anywhere.
So if you’re looking for some Yum Cha and haven’t tried here do yourself a favour and try it out!
Shame I can't rate -1.
Food is not fresh, no taste, waste of money. Service was even worst, digusting
and rude being served by these unprofessional china students. (not being racist, as other restaurants, there are lovely ones serving)
Have enjoyed eating here many times over the years. Very disappointed with the last visit. Dumplings were absolutely disgraceful.
The kwayteow was very oily, perhaps very, very oily.
Had an early dinner here on a Monday night. Wasn’t busy but gradually got busier as the night went on. Restaurant decor was dated. Food was average & a little over priced. Staff were attentive & friendly. Only thing I’d recommend they add to their menu is pictures of the dishes.
Had an great dinner there last night. Best prawn cabbage roll and seafood pot I have tried so far. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Definitely gonna come back again.
Terrible food, was give a meal with gluten after asking multiple times and being assured they could do some coeliac safe dishes, came and told me the entree I just ate had gluten when I questioned the sauces. Staff quite rude and unprofessional about it. Restaurant seemed dirty. Would not visit again.
Best Chinese food ever! Also the staff is really nice and always bring food at time, good tempeture and delicious. I love the salt & pepper soft shell crab, as the duck, dumplings and noddles. This restaurant is one of my favorites in Adelaide. Really good job T-Chow team!
The staff were fantastic. Shoutout to Kingsley. He saw to our every need. Made us feel very special on our anniversary.
Ordered via Uber eats, food was cold, containers were only half full, very expensive compared to other restaurants, was very disappointed
Driest duck I have ever had.
Came out in 6 minutes. So basically was cooked days ago and reheated.
Never again
The food was so so good.
Only let down was the restaurant was freezing and the staff were quite rude.
Wonderful service. Arrived after 9pm and they were still able to seat us. The food was delicious and a reasonable price.
I'm actually still at the restaurant as we speak and the staff have bent over backwards with regards to food allergies.
The staff and the food make this place a MUST for dinner!
Walk past it regularly but finally gave it a try. Tried their yum cha menu during Sunday lunch time. Ordered satay tripe, prawn Cheung fun, squid tentacles, scallop dumplings, Chinese chive dumplings and chicken feet. Everything was well seasoned. Nice flavour with the chilli used. Tripe had good texture, not too chewy and did not have strong odour. Dumplings were nice in size and flavor. Service was very attentive at the time (Sunday afternoon). Food came out timely and steaming hot. Will come again and recommend others to try.
You can't get Yum Cha from Ding Hao or Star House? Come here it's better anyway and quieter. You can always get a seat. Not here for Yum Cha? Try their E-shand Chicken, one of very few places that do it, beautiful!
