Symonds Reserve reviews
14Disappointed to turn up and find the BBQ absolutely disgusting dirty, clothes and blankets thrown around the area, so looks like a person has been sleeping, eating there, it's a "community" area but not a place I would like to hang around and relax at, as we planned to spend time there with lunch and for the dogs to have a play, neither happened,
Skatepark/BMX track: Terrible. Almost nothing you can do there, no places to grind, just a quarter pipe and a couple of hills to roll over. The area is growing but this skatepark certainly isn’t.
Dog Park: Great little space for dogs to run around in. The grass is green and well looked after, a go to place for an energetic dog!
Basketball Court: It’s got some nice open space to it and lots of hoops to shoot in, just need to have some new ring nets!
Dog Training: Great idea, I’ve heard people travel all around the state to come here!
Playground: Could do with an update, looking really old and rusty.
Community Garden: LOVE the idea! It’s such a great place for garden lovers to hang out in, share information and more.
Great Dog Park (two separate sides for small or big dogs), Terrible Skatepark/BMX Track, Old Playgrounds and Outdated dog course/exercise track that nobody uses (As its not in the enclosed area) Tennis and B-Ball courts are decent. Community Garden is good. Footpaths around the area are in disrepair. Access is limited to a few places, people in wheelchairs/gophers are unable to enter the park from any side. Needs a good renovation for sure!
Nice, clean pug friendly park for my little mate.
Good to have separate areas for large and small dogs.
Symonds Reserve is a lovely Park with play grounds for the children, and skate ramps, and a Doggie Park for our furry baby's, also Dog training school and the Comunity Center is there also, who can ask for more.
Worst dog park in Adelaide so far, no shelter, no obstacles for Dogs. Baron wasteland feel and is really small.
Playground is ok. Public toilets, nice community garden. Nice area for dogs to run around if you have them
It could di with a fenced children's playground, along with much up dated new play equipment an Bbq area's would more an likely attract more families.
Nice reserve with playgrounds, dog park, tennis courts, kindergarten and Aldinga Community Childcare Centre.
1st time visitor with our 2 year old Lab, she loved it, and had a great run around with other friendly dogs and owners. Excellent for dogs, but the humans have to battle the elements (windy, and cold) to watch their fur babies have fun. Small improvements, like shelters would make it perfect.
What can be said about a reserve. Great dog park separate areas for large and small dogs. Lack of seats but my dog loves to run around off his lead. Spoilt by kids being kids. Running around in the dog park and ł, and making a nuisance of themselves.
Perfect place for your fur babies. Has both a big dog and small dog enclosed area. Water for the puppers and even a small obstical course.
I love to take my dog there and play with the ball, I sometimes go with friends and we play soccer and I played soccer for 5 years so I won most of them, the last one I lost cause I fell and they scored the winning kick
Good place to take the kids. Two play grounds, skate and scooter facilities, plenty of space for ball games. Tennis and basketball courts also.
