Sweetwater Chinese Takeaway reviews
21It's cheap you get what you pay for. Won't be back. I do not recommend as I enjoy good quality chinese food.
I love all Asian food, even though j love trying as much different food as humanly possible, whenever I get take away chinese I'm a simple beast, beef and black bean and fried rice (also combination omelette which sadly they don't have). Both beef and black bean and rice are delicious everytime. Nothing fancy here just tasty Chinese. Oh yeah satay skewers are tasty too, I'm a big fan of Jimmies satay paste (greatest satay sauce base of all time) and to me it taste like that which is a win far as I'm concerned. So all I need to do is start heckling the owners to out combination omelette on the menu and we're sweet. Hope the owners read this maybe I can go in there sometime and they can teach me how to make a combi omelette
A gem. Its authentic chinese food, tasty, fresh, healthy, no preservatives, & no unwell feelings after like some asian takeaway places. Good prices.
Easily the best authentic tasting Chinese Takeaways in South Australia. We have tried almost every Chinese takeaways in Adelaide and this is the best.
Absolutely brilliant.prawn toast was amazing to start the cheeky takeaway.honey and lemon chicken was super.everything was just singing come back again.great job. A must to visit. TAKE AWAY ONLY
Absolute Elite Chinese Takeaway, cooked to perfection!
(Special Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, Satay Chicken)
Nice tasty fresh food. Fantastic satay sauce on the beef satays. Good they had chairs for waiting because we had to wait for a while - quite a while - even thought it was before 545pm on a Sunday. Friendly service. The sweet and sour chicken was not battered but the honey chicken was.
Excellent value, fresh cooked not from frozen and not oily. Took a little longer to prepare but worth it.
Move over Mings Court we have a new local taste winner the food here is fantastic if your a honey chicken fanatic you have to try this, you can taste the honey and you get a crisp glaze as it cools, fried rice tastes like fried rice and the satay has a real zing to it, if you love your aussie inspired chinese then get your taste buds into this it wont dissapoint however they seem to run behind sometimes meaning you have to wait a bit longer than quoted, dosnt appear dine in is an option. Needs a menu log or uber!
The best Chinese in Adelaide. Everything about this place is awesome. Food was ready when I came to collect it. It was hot and fresh and tastes amazing. Love this place.
The food is really, really yummy. Only criticism is when ordering a pick-up, you are always told they are very busy & there's a 45 mins wait, which is fine, but when you come in to get your order its still not ready & you still wait an extra 45 mins.an hour & a half in total!
Wonderful restaurant, I got the beef ginger and shallots, and the roasted garlic pork and they tasted delicious. Only took 15-20 minutes wait time and the boxes were filled to the brim!
Although the wait is longer then you’d expect the food is just divine and soon you forget about your troubles and feast on what I’d say is the best Chinese in Adelaide well done Sweetwater you have my loyalty.
Food looked great and tasted great untill my second mouthfull.everyones nightmare. A BIG HAIR IN MY FOOD IN MY MOUTH. The sight of me pulling the hair from my mouth put my wife and guests completely off their meals. As for me i almost vomited. As i said second mouthfull in. When i rang up to complain they didnt even seem to care. No offer of a refund or replacement food. We ended up ordering pizza.
Best chinese in Adelaide, I come from Kangaroo Island and always make sure I get a takeaway from here when I visit:)
Amazing
We had the chicken sweetcorn soup, spring rolls, honey chicken, chicken cashew nut, sweet and sour pork and special fried rice. Could not fault anything!
If I could give 6 stars I would
Will definitely be back
Went there on the day they opened and waited over an hour. The food was some of the worst Chinese I have had in Adelaide. Hope they have improved but I would not go back.
As locals, we gave the menu a workout and were very impressed. Ginger prawns had a lovely sauce and everything else was light and fresh. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. Thanks so much.
Delicious and fresh, finally have a local Chinese takeaway shop. Great job wonderful service. Manage to taste 5 dishes couldn't fault any. We will be back!
Very friendly staff, quick service and everything tasted great, I will definitely be getting food here again.
