Swedish Tarts reviews
30Last Tuesday my family and I went to Swedish tarts caffe at Glenelg. Food and coffee looked good however my daughter's order was pouch eggs. She didn't wanted them so I and my 2 year old granddaughter we shared one each. I ate all but she had a little bit. We both have gastroenteritis now. I think it is a must to serve fresh eggs when they are poached.
The meal was really nice. Swedish Mealballs and a Columbian long black. Staff very efficient and friendly
Had breakfast there today took about 45mins to get our meals ordered a omelette it was a flat frittat dry rubbery
Toast wasn't even toasted it was warm bread
Very disappointing
Waited 25mins to order a coffee then 20mins for it to come. Great coffee but I think they might milk cows out the back with that wait time.
Excellent food, great service and cozy space. Had Breakfast Flatbread and was spot on! Certainly coming back!
Had a wonderful brunch here. The food was scrumptious and the lovely waitress Isabella went out of her way to make sure my fussy requirements were met. No hassle at all and all with a smile. Definitely returning again to this lovely Cafe.
The meal was nice but the service was Theft!
Didn’t receive a free coffee with a full coffee card.
Staff don’t know how to add and subtract
Great atmosphere, healthy and delicious food and friendly service. Once you ait down you just don't want to leave anymore.
Every time we here always amazing hospitality, specially Rohit and his crew, such a lovely place to have peaceful and tummy full breakie to start a day, or favourite spot to chill every sunday
Service wasn't great, no cutlery, needed to remind waitress to bring a couple of additional food items. Food is good
Excellent quality food and coffee. Place is very popular which means it's often very busy and loud. Limited parking outside the cafe, with more available in the Coles carpark across the road. There are plenty of places that serve good coffee and food in Glenelg - this is definitely one of those.
Really enjoyed the breakfast here. We had fritters and smashed avo. Both were a great size and reasonably priced. Out door seating was great and nicely undercover. Table service was a nice touch. Overall was a good experience
Amazing food. Great service. It's just very hard to move around because the density of tables are a bit too high. The smoked salmon crepes are
The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
Service is excellent.
The place has a chill relaxing vibe.
Food was worth the price.
Highly recommend for Brunch place.
Chill, nice accessible cafe for breakfast/brunch… make sure to order the bacon and egg crepe, plays with your mind is it savoury or sweet and the texture of the crepe gives your bacon and eggs brekkie a different experience.
Luke warm coffee, dry tarts, staff member starts sweeping floor whilst we and other patrons are still eating, OHS issue. Continuous banging the 'staff only door' very loud music, very dissapounted. Never again, theres plenty of other great cafes in the Bay area.
This cafe has character, good food, lovely chai tea, great coffee and atmosphere. Will definitely be returning next time travel from Brisbane for family reunions in Adelaide.
Good menu options, even for GFO (coeliacs) and VO. Coffee ️ and Breakfast was enjoyed. Good friendly Service, priced reasonably.
I passed by today to get tarts for take away. I was saved by a very curt and rude lady of south asian descent. I mentioned I wanted a box of six tarts, one in each flavour. She then asks what flavour as there were many flavors. I mentioned it again, I wanted one of each. She had to go and point to all six one by one. How specific do I need to be when there were only 6 available. It's my first time to buy from here, and it was not a good experience. Her demeanor and rude behavior has put me off from returning.
Can’t comment on the food because I never managed to get through the door. Came for lunch on Friday at 1.45 pm to find it closed. Very disappointing. No note visible on door to say it was closed but all outdoor furniture was inside. No one came to the door while I stood there.
Probably won’t waste my time in future and head straight to Henley Square for lunch.
