Absolutely Amazing food
Last time I went there is roughly 16 yrs ago and I'll be back

It was my cousin's 85th birthday luncheon. Venue, staff, meals.exceptional. A very special day overlooking the magnificent and picturesque Murray River. Well done to all. Most memorable, thank you.

Very good food in a dining room overlooking the river. Service is friendly. Can't comment on rooms as there for lunch only.

On entering the dining room on Time for our booking, we were greeted by the most unfriendly older woman talking on the phone which lasted for at least 10 minutes,
Then she received another call, no excuse me at all.
She then proceeded to leave us standing there as she disappeared for at least another 10 minutes.
No apologies when she returned.
I think that the owners need to give the older woman some customer training. As she made us feel very uncomfortable. If she smiled her face would have cracked.

When I entered the hotel, I didn't know where the reception was.
I later found out that the bar counter also doubles as the hotel's reception, but the male staff member there was on the phone the whole time and I had to wait until he finished to check in.
(The male staff seemed drunk)
I went out from the evening until midnight and returned to the hotel late at night, but I was unable to enter the hotel with the key given to me. So I slept in the car until morning.
The next morning, a female staff member vacated the hotel and told me that the key she had been given was for the back door of the hotel. Also, since I did not explain how to enter the hotel, they refunded me the full amount.
The female staff was polite and kind, but I am very disappointed that I was not able to sleep at the hotel I checked into.

Sunday Lunch with a group of over 40 people from a car club.
Adequate parking for 2o+ classic cars. Prompt service in a crowded dining room that was noisy but had a good "vibe"

Hi I’m a local, greeted by the rudest staff member on earth. The other visits we have had have been great but this one woman ruined our own evening.

Lovely food, view and drinks, Jackson behind the bar is a very polite young man and provides great service!

Good food, good price. Very nice location. Friendly staff good service. Can recommend for a good pub meal.

Always a great feed and beautiful place to sit for a drink and watch the Murray! Love the local kookaburras!

Drove over an hour to have a meal and arrived at 1pm, hotel was busy but thought we’d try our luck. Staff were rude and very un-accomodating, wouldn’t look for a table to seat us (only two of us) said we can go and look around for one ourselves. We asked if we could just have takeaway schnitzels as they were so busy, one lady said we could but we wouldn’t get priority for takeaway and it would take over an hour which we were okay to wait for as there’s no where to else to eat in the area. The other lady said that she was in charge, and they “Were not doing takeaway because we are too busy”. The staff should be happy that their business is so busy during the flood. A lot of other hotels (Mannum etc) can’t operate due to flooding so it’s disappointing to have such bad service. Went for hotdogs at the General Store instead and had great, friendly service!

The place was pumping. Staff smashed through the meals.funky place. Had the crispy skin salmon and the steak.salmon needed a sauce and less salad but otherwise good. Wine cheap.hotel rooms - need to be seen

Stopped for a drink and photos of the River Very friendly staff and hotel is so neat and clean, it's a credit to them. Well done

We didn't stay in the rooms because it was a day out. But the scenery was amazing and we had a kookaburra that came right down to the railing and started singing. Awesome! We sat out on the outside dining area and it was perfect. Our love and best wishes to all at Swan Reach we are thinking of you all in this time of the floods. God bless you all! ️?

Over 1hour 15 minute wait for a meal - why accept more customers if you're over capacity? No warning - just a massive delay for food

We had an amazing lunch today. The food, service, Staff and location are top notch. We will definitely be back very soon.

I was with a group of people and they forgot about me. Got my meal when I asked.but I won't order that again.

Normally I love the meal everything.will try again.

Lovely meal. Great views. Oysters were ok for 2 hour trip from Ocean. Chicken snitz was guicy. Burger was delicious. Creamy sauce was garlic and cream. Drinks were tad pricey. Kangaroo steak best had in 10 years.

Beautiful location overlooking the Murray River, spectacular at night. The food was reasonably priced and very high quality. Staff were attentive. Well done! We will be back.
