My mumma attends this clinic and says that the staff and doctors are absolutely brilliant and professional I'm also going to be attending this clinic all they ask is for some respect for the receptionist and doctors because it has been a Long stressful couple of years so everyone can have a off Day including docs and everyone. I haven't had a lot of need for medical services during the pandemic. So, when I got flu a few weeks back and then a subsequent secondary chest infection which just would not go away, I was dreading going through the process of getting medical attention. First stop, their website - very easy to navigate, loads of relevant information and very clear.

It was obvious I had to call rather than make an online booking as I had "respiratory symptoms". Started to worry how long I'd be on hold and how long I'd wait for an appointment.

The call was answered very swiftly and I got an appointment the next morning. The person I spoke with was lovely on the phone; personable, friendly, informative and very helpful.

When I attended the clinic, the process was simple and speedy. They've done a great job navigating the challenges of seeing sick people during COVID and they seem to have it all spot on. Well done!

Good Medical Centre with presently 7 Dr's available. Also has a visiting Podiatrist. Friendly Reception Staff. A busy, neat and clean Surgery which also has an on site Nurse. Highly recommended.

Thankyou so much Doctor Ducker for making my appointment over the phone so easy. When I was not feeling well at all you made it a great experience. I Get very nervous when I go to the GP from having had long bouts in hospital so thankyou again.

I have been a patient at this clinic my whole life and have my regular GP but have seen almost all other doctors here. They are always helpful and attentive. The front desk staff are exceptional, going above and beyond what is expected of them even when they are busy.

Doctors need to stop trying to push clients out in 10 Minutes as this is a money grabbing attempt and not in the patient (paying customers) best interest as the are not checking there medical issues, just eager to get them out the door for $$$ * * updated got a second opinion have been in hospital since immediately ambulanced to RAH for blood transfusion diagnosed with leukemia**

Used to be a good place with friendly staff and docs, now they're all angry, hostile adolfs with huge authoritarian syndrome issues. After over 12 years am definitely going out of my way to go elsewhere.

It's not a bad little medical centre, it's not a clinic I attend, but it's a clinic an elderly relative goes to. Just dont bother booking a telehealth consult, you'll be waiting & waiting several hours past the booking time.perhaps they should have a day or two (or a half day twice a week) dedicated to telehealth appointments, rather than treating telehealth patients like afterthoughts

I have been waited for my participant’s who has disability, over the phone app re Covid testing and discussing her symptoms for more than 2hours and still haven’t got the call. They’re always behind. Thinking of changing our medical centre. The receptionists are friendly but the doctors have no respect for patients.

After been given the run around from the Golden Grove branch and the Prospect branch, I finally got the answers to my questions in relation to the closure of the Salisbury branch and the whereabouts of my medical records. Spoke with Meredith who was lovely and friendly.

Excellent doctors & Physio. Sometimes appointments can run behind, however the service is excellent.

Myself and my family have been attending Surrey Downs Medical centre for over ten years.
The girls behind the desk are ALWAYS polite and courteous and are happy to answer all questions at the desk, or over the phone.
Our doctor is also very professional and courteous and we have a Gr8 relationship. I would recommend (and have done so) this clinic to all intending patients.
I also believe that naming doctors on this review site is unethical and the clinic should have the right to bar or remove any comment that names personnel.

People over 50 and 80 year olds do not want Astra Zeneca covid vaccine it's dangerous and causes blood clots
Dr Bricavs better not give anyone 80 and over Astra Zeneca. They took fragile, confused and should not get any vaccine against covid don't trust them

Do not give my parents the Astro zenaca vaccine or else I seek legal advice against your medical centre my mum had blood clots in Europe years ago and never will have Astro zenaca vaccine. I don't trust this medical centre working with the government. Scott Morrison is over 50 and he had the Plizer vaccine for covid 19 Scott Morrison should have had Astro zenaca vaccine. Over 70 s should have Plizer vaccine or nothing at all. Dont trust Astro zenaca never causes blood clots

Horrible, awful service. Rang to enquire about a sick certificate and covid test for a cold and was told I would have to attend the clinic to collect the certificate, and catch a taxi to a drive in clinic as I don't drive. Asked about walk in clinics, dr was dismissive as "I would have to leave the house anyway, I should just use drive in". How is it ok to expect a taxi driver to do this? Evasive when I enquired about home testing and displayed no understanding for my circumstance whatsoever.

My wife had gone to see Dr. Blicavs in the morning to get wax in ears cleaned out and had put olive oil in ears at night to loosen wax before appt but went there only to be told to go to chemist and buy waxsol and use for a couple of nights and go back on Thursday. Was still charged $60 and could of been bulkbilled as did not even attempt to clean ears. She prefers to see a different doctor next time.

Everytime I ring this clinic I am shocked at how rude these women are on the phone. I rang to make an appointment today and she was having issues with the time I needed because someone else was booking it online at the time to which she said theres nothing she can do. I said thats ok can you maybe ring me back in 5/10 mins when you know if its free or has definitely been booked to which she replied YOU CALL ME! Absolutely no professionalism in her tone just a miserable old woman who hates her job. Time for a reshuffle of staff on that front desk
