Superstitious Asian Fusion reviews
18 Had lunch here yesterday with one of my mates.
We started with the prawn rolls and the pork and lychee skewers. Both were delicious. For the mains we chose the duck curry, which had a generous portion of duck and the farmers bread curry, which had soft shell crab served very very creatively with foccacia bread and a yellow curry. We both said we'd definitely be back! (I'll be going back for more of the farmer's bread curry!)
Good vibes, quick service and tasty food.
The roast duck curry has the tender duck meat simmered in the creamy coconut curry sauce. The pineapple and tomato match this dish so well. Beautifully balanced flavour of sweetness and sourness made me devour it all
Started with small dish like wings and it was really nice. Moving on to the main dish, the Roast duck curry is the must try item! It was cooked just right. The curry was creamy and bursting with flavour!
The staffs are very nice and friendly too. Prefect for dating and family gatherings!
We were pleasantly surprised with the food. Ordered 2 entree and 2 mains and cannot say anything bad. All were so tasty and delicious,
The service was excellent and would highly recommend. We would definitely go again
A hidden gem in Grange. Didn’t realise this amazing restaurant located in my living area until my friend highly recommended this to me. Will return to try rest of menu
An outstanding dining experience! The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the customer service was exceptional. It was a wonderful experience dining and celebrating a birthday with my friends. Thanks
Tried the feed me menu today and fell in love with this restaurantlove to recommend it to friends
I really love this restaurant. I go there often, ever since it opened. I’ve taken my family there and visited with friends.
Their menu has really good options - for a non-meat eater like me- and for meat lovers like everyone else I bring.
Portion sizes are great and prices are reasonable.
The coffee, yellow curry and the sweet and sower tofu are my favourite things so far. My family really liked the satay chicken and the wine list is really substantial.
The atmosphere is always so welcoming and peaceful. Great place to dine in.
Well done guys!
Great food and service. Love the food there with reasonable price. Although there is no kids menu, there are some options for them and kids love the food too.
This is a newish restaurant and we have now eaten there about 10 times. They’ve just released a new menu and I feel like they have jumped up another notch or two … I’m predicting I won’t be able get a seat there soon. 100% check them out. Ken
Ordered Wok Tossed Nestum Chicken, HK Style Salt & Pepper Squid & Wagu Fried Rice.
I would like to say the food is authentic and tasty.
Fresh deep fried really surprised me. The crispy coating of the chicken holds perfectly.
This restaurant is better than half of the "Asian" food in SA.
Nice interior setting and spacious, and the staff is attentive and nice. Would be a good choice for a group of people for gathering dinner.
Will recommend my friends to come over next time!
It would be great if there were more wok options like fried rice with options of meat. Including photos of the dishes on the menu will be great for someone like me who would like to imagine the dish.
First time visiting and we were very impressed.
Menu is not over complicated and the food was delicious.
A must try ~ golden scollops, charcoal tofu, vego dumplings and sweet and sour pork!
Congratulations to the new owners on creating a nice place to have dinner with family and friends.
Dined recently at Superstitious for the first time recently and was most impressed with the excellent service, outstanding food and ambiance. Can’t wait to get back to explore the most interesting menu further. An ideal place to stop for dinner after an afternoon at the beach. Highly recommended! Regards Ian
Super underrated restaurant that I wish more people knew about! The team is super nice and welcoming, always checking on us to see if we want more drinks, food, or if we have any issues with the food etc.
My friends and I had dinner here and really enjoyed each dish. The mocktails were delicious and the pandan milkshake (more like a milk tea) was our favourite of all the drinks we tried.
Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, you can tell the owners and team really put their all in each dish and drink served.
The golden scallops, chicken satay and tom yum fried rice were our favourite dishes of the night. The other dishes were amazing as well, though the miso beef was slightly overcooked due to how thin it was but it was still lovely and paired nicely with the rice.
The food and drinks also came out very quickly so that’s always a bonus!
I can’t see the coffee menu and don’t remember if you have this option but would love to see matcha and/or taro lattes/milkshakes/iced as an option too!
And would also look into the menu on the website being fixed for mobile as it’s quite difficult to view and the menu is cut off?
Other than that, I look forward to coming back here to try the other drinks and dishes!
I like the use of different spices and flavours especially the mint leaves. Also portion sizes are generous.
My wife and I had another meal at Superstitious. We are testing the menu so chose differently from a week ago. We did choose the same entrées as the spring rolls and vegetarian dumplings are very delicious.
We ordered the salt and pepper squid and the fried rice, for mains, we thought both were very unique to Superstitious, and the spices left a welcome and flavoursome aftertaste, We resisted the stuffed calamari this time, but left with the same flood of many subtle spices uplifting the experience of eating genuinely great food. Cheers

The cuisine was delicious and flavoursome. Staff have great knowledge of dishes. Definitely will be back with more friends!
Had lunch here the other day. Very friendly staff and good service. Lunch menu is a bit smaller than the one online which is for evenings. There were 3 savoury veggie options which we had; a nori and edamame salad, potato curry with roti and friend spring rolls. The food was very tasty as were the coffees and we thought it was good value. We'd return for an evening meal and again for lunch if more vegetarian options were introduced.
