Today I had a interview for a chronic health management plan with practice RN Margaux. Her professional approach was excellent plus the care shown

Absolutely ulelsess! My wife has been waiting two weeks to see a GP for her eye and after already one cancellation she gets to the front counter to be told the GP wants to do a phone consult when she is inside the place already!

I found this surgery to be lovely and clean, very helpful staff has a wide range of doctors and visiting specialists. Great little snack bar serves coffee takeaway and cakes etc. Chemist is also very handy to have on site saves one rushing around to find a chemist.

I used to see Chloe Shelton and she was amazing. I had an appt this morning at 10: 30. I had to wait an hour. As Dr Jack Fuller came and got me he gruffly said there is an emergency next door and that he might have to leave during my appt and what did i want? ! I was so taken aback i burst into tears tellung him HE HAD RESULRS FOR ME. I FELT LIKE HE HAD NO TIME FOR ME AT ALL. This appt had aleady been changed on me and i was made to feel that i was in the way. Im mortified

Appreciate the recent decor upgrade in the waiting area. Black gone, grey in its place, much more relaxing.
And Dr Jack Fuller is a a breath of fresh air. Has helped me so much, takes the time needed to achieve results.

This review is for one receptionist, not my doctor. I attended Summit Health and was asked to wait for my doctor in the respiratory illness area which is isolated from the main waiting area. That was fine. My appointment time came and went. Mindful that I did not want to appear pushy or aggressive, I gently approached one receptionist and politely asked if doctor was running late and to please remember where I was waiting. Her response? "The doctor knows where you are. SIT DOWN! " I was taken aback and went back to my seat. I felt so belittled. Nearly every time I visit Summit Health, something like this happens. Please show your patients patience!

Its YELLOW, BIG YELLOW SHED. With good specialist visiting.
Chemist on site. Very helpful
Phone first relief dr can be a concern.
Infrastructure in this town is a serious worry with a 30 bed hospital. No back up. Limited staff services hrs. They try their best. For a community of 40.000. And planned to increase to 100.000.
Go to Adelaide call 000. Emergency.
Mt Barker has been placed in difficult situation.

Friendly & helpful staff. Knowledgeable & engaged doctors in my experience. Offers most services on site including a chemist. Large, clean waiting area with play area for small kids. Reasonable sized family room with change table, sink & a couple of chairs. Also not too difficult to get an appointment.

Great. One stop shop. Chemist. Vampires. Drs, SRs, and lots more. Also reception staff are friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble.

Your carers are disgusting, foul months on them, and they smoke more cigarettes than care for a young girl, l have seen it with my own eye's

Whilst an available alternative to heading down to WCH or RAH, they aren't much better than the "after-hours" care at Mt Barker Hospital when it comes to wait times, as they also only seem to have one doctor (usually, the same grumpy old one who has the patient-doctor relationship backwards) who isn't prepared for odd situations. Mount Barker needs a dedicated and staffed class 1 emergency center. Summit does what they can, but doesn't have what they need.

Some reviewer was complaining about the receptionists? They are kind and helpful and that reviewer is not a reliable source and frankly I am a reliable source. But anyway. 911 was an inside job and the government is in on long waits in waiting rooms. 5 stars!

As a patient with chronic issues and following what the doctors at summit health told me the doctors still will not help me, I'm absolutely gob smacked their supposed to be doctors but yet won't help me and to top it off they tell me to go to Adelaide on a wild goose chase which I did and guess what they still won't help me, absolutely disgraceful!

Reasonably new, neat and clean. Relatively easy to get appointments. Seen 4 different Dr's with kids and all have been great.

My kids loved the play area. Big, clean, can be slightly confusing especially on a first visit.

Multiple health services use rooms here; with access to hospital, x-ray service, & chemist attached. Waiting area large which allows for the different services, but appears cold & rather uninviting. But it's the service you go for, not the waiting room. 'My Physio' who consult here, are high on my recommendation list.
