The coffee was good even though I prefer mine a little creamier. Pastries are superb. Sweet and savoury. It's a small place but well worth the visit!

Jess recently made 8-dozen vegan and gluten free cupcakes for an event I was holding. I dropped a copy of the printed invite to her and she took the care to match the icing and sprinkles to the invite theme. Not to mention, the cakes were delicious! Guests could barely believe they were GF/Vegan.

Jess was a pleasure to deal with, and I'll certainly be using her again in the future!

I drive past on the way to work and never stop today I did.nice smooth coffee not bitter and full and the sweets look amazing. I'll pop in regularly now.

Went past today on 3rd August at around 1pm and the doors were shut. Staff was present but seems the store operates differently to the posted trading hours. I was in the area and heard good things about the coffee but I’d suggest elsewhere with the trading hours differing from what is uploaded

I would highly recommend this hidden gem in felixtow. Very cozy and welcoming. Had a nice chat with the owner. Coffee was smooth and the almond croissant was delish! It's worth stopping by and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

Small Very clean place. Nice n quiet and pleadant interior.makes beautiful celebration and other cakes. Sml cakes in the display looked yummy.

Very friendly staff with a range of cakes that makes it hard to choose just one, and coffee that is very smooth and flavoursome. Mars bar eclair was delicious.

Pistachio Paris breast - $7 but I only had $6 so she was kind enough to let it slide:)

The sugar dusted choux pastry smells and tastes fantastic and the mouth feel is great.
Pistachio and custard filling is sweet and creamy, oozes out of the sized.

Gorgeous little bakery/cake shop. Lovely coffee and the sweet treats always made with such care. We ordered a beautiful 1st birthday cake which was delicious and so pretty. I also love their fruit pastries.

SugarCoated is one of Felixstow’s pocket gems with its boutique custom cakes capabilities and amazing french-style desserts. My family and I have been regular patrons since we tasted their lemon meringue, cloud-on-your-tongue Pavlova and original Pineapple Gateau. Although, try to arrive before 11am to get hold of their best desserts - it’s a bitter sadness to see somebody else enjoying your favourite sweets of which you can’t have.

Excellent cakes and service. Have ordered numerous birthday and special event cakes through this place and have not once been disappointed. Lovely place to grab and superb coffee and have a chat with a mate. Would be the first place I’d recommend to others looking to fill their craving for a piece of cake or delicious pastry!

Had my 40th birthday cake made by Sugarcoated. Not did it only look amazing, it tasted amazing!
It was a red velvet cake with some sort of jam between the layers and it tasted like Cherry ripe (without the coconut though).
Yummo!

I won't buy cakes anywhere else, each cake we have just gets better and better. Great service, friendly and welcoming.
