Sugar & Spice Cakes

Rozanne and the team at Sugar & Spice need to take a bow. We ordered our cake over 1 consultation (trying all the samples of course) and then the remainder was done via email and phone as we live in Victoria and had our Wedding in Adelaide. All we simply did was show a sample of what we wanted and it was done, including the most amazing little clay model of our Pooch Audrey who was placed on the cake nibbling at it.

Cake flavour and texture was truly amazing. So much so we actually had guests ask for the details of who made the cake so they could call for the recipe.

For context we had 4 tiers: 1. Triple Chocolate 2. Sticky Date 3. Triple Chocolate with Salted Caramel 4. Lemon and Elderflower. The only disappointment is that they are not based in Melbourne so we can’t get their cakes here.

We had a custom Lord of the Rings inspired design from Sugar and Spice Cakes for our wedding. The cake looked stunning and beautifully incorporated all the elements we wanted. We were able to talk to helpful and friendly staff in store and received a tasting pack to take home to help pick a flavour (double chocolate with salted caramel was the winner)! Beautiful and tasty with a stunning cake topper!

We had our wedding cake made from Sugar and Spice and we loved it! The cake was not only beautiful but tasted amazing. We chose Lemon & Elderflower and Red velvet and it was just devine. Amanda is so lovely and professional and just wonderful as a supplier. We couldn't recommend her highly enough and look forward to having many more cakes made through Sugar and Spice in the future!

Sugar and Spice recently made my daughters wedding cake which was absolutely outstanding. She selected wedding cake image 26 with two layers. One layer of lemon delicious cake and second layer sticky date cake. Superb flavour and not too sweet. My personal favourite was the lemon delicious. Helpful tip, ask your florist to give you loose flowers so Heath can arrange on your cake. You will not be disappointed Heath is so creative and has a wonderful decorative eye. I am super fussy and would recommend Sugar and Spice to any bride to be or any other function in a heart beat. Sugar and Spice now my go to shop.

Sugar and spice cakes were able to put together a BEAUTIFUL wedding cake for 100 people in just a few hours when we had to plan our wedding in 5 hours due to Covid. They were so excited for us and so happy to help. The cake tasted AMAZING too!

Sugar & Spice created the most stunningly beautiful AND delicious wedding cake for our winter wedding at Mount Lofty House, it was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. I have had 2 custom cakes made by Sugar & Spice cakes and I simply can't recommend them enough! Their store is gorgeous and full of amazing examples of their work. The workers are warm, welcoming and listen to all your requests and make them come true in a beautiful tasting cake! We used Sugar and Spice for our wedding cake. They were great from the moment we went in for the tastings. All the cakes were delicious also!
