14I suffered severe food poisoning after eating last nights dinner from here I suspect it's due to the lack of hygiene from the person who served me with the incredibly long fake nails very disappointed in the quality control and beyond angry that with in 15-20min of eating I was violently ill
Going through drive through took over 20minutes when I was the only person there. Attempted going inside the next time, and waited at the front register for a few moments despite being able to see about 4 staff members out back. The food itself is good, but definitely skip it if you've got somewhere to be
Wasn't asked which bread I wanted just g liven white meatball was was slapped on sauce every were all over the paper was just a big mess
Wonderful experience, the young man who served me last Wednesday night was outstanding, fantastic customer service and a very well made sandwich. Definitely going back there again.
Food and beverage services are excellent. Essentially all of the products are tailored for the individual needs.
Server was lovely, very friendly and listened to how I'd like my role and adjusted for allergy requirements.
Whilst I appreciate its Subway OTR, this experience was something else. I was greeted with a "what do you want" by a sandwich artist wearing 1 glove, no mask, and no hat. She clearly loved her role, failing to either make eye contact with me or respond to my 'how are you'. She slapped on the initial ingredients and then into the grill. With 5 staff members on for lunch serving, I stood with 6 other people as we waited for a staff gathering at the till to conclude. 5 minutes later (after looking at my watch countless times), my lunch was finalised. Of course my roll was now cold thank you to the disorganised unhappy workforce.
Gone the days of a delicious looking lunch and being asked 'are you happy with this', not to mention the rationing of ingredients (thank you for the 3 small pieces of onion).
"Do you want any drinks or cookies with your order". Of course the fridge next to subway was completely empty, so myself and 4 other people walk to the other side of the store for a drink. On returning we're greeted with Ms. Personality manning the toaster, and the other 4 workers out the back in a discussion about a broken till they weren't even using.
Finally we're given the privilege for paying for our cold, heavily rationed lunches. I turn around to find not one, but every single table in the eatery dirty. Lucky me, I will eat in my car.
I get that it's Subway, it's OTR, and it's Angle Vale. But it costs nothing to smile at your customers. A personality and creating a welcoming atmosphere will result in return business. PPE is a necessity during a pandemic. It doesn't take 4 people to fix a broken till. Don't be so cheap with your servings of ingredients. Replenish your drinks so people buy them. Clean your tables so people have somewhere to eat.
Angle Vale OTR Subway, what an experience. Something I will truly cherish and remember next time I'm in the area.
Ordering from Uber a sandwich was missing from our order, we called the phone number provided several times but no one answered so we were forced to drive to the store (which defeats the purpose of paying for an Uber delivery)
We arrived being very frustrated and the one worker behind the bar didn’t help, she had our sub waiting and said “that’s the problem with Uber”. Because we ordered through Uber she had our number and could have called us however no such luck.
Uber gave us a refund of the sub and free delivery because of this which was nice however the employee handled the situation terribly.
Ordered 3 simple sandwichs direct from menu through drive through and received the wrong sandwich. Nobody answered the phone and couldn't contact staff. Very poor customer service and zero interest in fixing the problem. FYI the sandwiches were inappropriate for my children. Looks like its back to fish and chips next time.
To the gentleman who gave the best introductions over the drive through speaker- I love you and you made my day
Have a wonderful day and I'll catchya roundyround next time!
That was the worst experience I've had at a subway. Staff were more intent on starting new orders than finishing what they were doing. My sub ended up burnt because they left it in the oven for twice as long as it was toasting for while they were busy serving new people. Somehow three people that joined the queue and ordered after me ended up getting out before me because the staff kept jumping to other things. I was stuck waiting as person after person got skipped ahead of me while my burnt sub and empty wrap was just sitting there. Usually we prefer coming to Angle Vale because they handle things better, but that was just a trainwreck.
Shout out to the employee who gave me 2 free cookies with my regular order! You know who you are and I appreciate you! Your service is amazing every time even if your speakers in the drive thru have a loud beeping/buzzing noise I'll be back soon!
Been here a few times and there are usually three people on and only myself sometimes maybe one other person in lie and I am standing and waiting. I have walked off before because of this. Once served service is fine and food is alright.
