16 Elizabeth Street South, Franchisee. I placed an online order for 2x platters, to be delivered to a function. I received a call from a delivery driver saying he was at the Subway for pick up, but there is no order. I called the store directly, to be told 'Our POS system is faulty, so we didn't get order. ' BUT the payment had been taken. The store then said the manager will contact me. I ended up having to call (as no one contacted me), whilst delivery driver messaged to say he can't stick around. Subway manager tells me 'Your order is cancelled in POS, you will get your refund. '
It has been over a month- and have NOT got my refund. I've communicated this with Subway Australia via email, and am getting a run around. Now they aren't even bothering to respond! All this over $145.50! Pathetic customer service from the franchise (Elizabeth Street South, Melbourne) and from Subway Aus. I would recommend not using Subway Online for any online orders for catering, use Uber Eats instead!
I had the steak and cheese roll. You can customise it your way. The prices are great, the food is fresh, the staff are friendly, and the prices are OK. It's not bad for a treat yourself moment.
Sub was great and good price. Member who made sandwich was not as friendly as usual but other staff members were ok. Store was clean, tidy and well lit.
I will not be returning to this subway store after staff made a 12 year old child awaiting service cry.
I've bought from this subway store multiple times, usually mid morning on weekdays.
This evening however, there were different staff on, and whilst the staff I usually encounter are lovely, the two girls on tonight had absolutely no customer service skills.
Although I understand that they were busy, ignoring customers outright for periods of 10-15minutes, then being rude, defensive and unapologetic when it was suggested to them and bringing pre-teens to tears is just unacceptable and disgusting - when a 20 something year old woman working in customer service makes children cry whilst "working", you know something is wrong.
I am truly appalled, it's unfortunate that one trashy employee can destroy the impression of a store that was previously thought highly of and frequented. I sincerely hope they review the service their staff is delivering in the future to avoid such behaviour.
It's a great place with friendly staff but is always low on stock, try and order your food before the lunch time rush.
Donna made my Sandwhiches with so much Love! Best subway experience I've ever had. And chipotle sauce is Bomb!
Raw/uncooked bacon, still stuck together with white fat on it, on numerous wraps & rolls. Ordered thru Uber on Thursday night 12/11/20. Couldn't eat it at all. What was eaten actually made someone sick. Tried calling the Elizabeth store 20 times over an hour on Thursday night. Line was constantly busy. Called Adelaide head office Thursday night & left a message about my complaint. Received a return call on Friday 12/11/20 but was told head office can't do anything, it's up to the individual franchisees. Was told they would contact the area manager for Elizabeth & get them to call me. As of yet 19/11/20, still waiting on a call. Not very good customer service at all in regards to this issue. Will be following up with the health department as well now. To be serving RAW/UNCOOKED bacon is terrible. No excuses for it. If I could give zero stars I would.
Btw I have previously had really good service & food from other subway stores but VERY UNHAPPY with this particular service.
Rebecca here rudely said "were closed" so we got something from the eatery instead and the OTR worker explained that they changed their hours. That is bad service and I'm highly disappointed at this decision of staff and trading hours.
Got the cheesy garlic bread tonight. Wasn't toasted properly and the garlic was so strong it was horrible. Last time was great, this time thumbs
We love to have a Subway now and again as they are also very yummy there coffee is also very good

Disgusting.dry, over heated chicken, very stingy toppings- 1 piece of lettuce, 1 piece of tomato, 1 piece of beetroot doesn’t cut it!
The lady that served me was very rude. Asked for it to be extra toasted when she went to take it out and she rolled her eyes at me
All together food was slapped together no effort in making it
So this is my subway store of choice normally.
They normally make my subs perfect and are super friendly.
But lately things have gone down hill.
They keep stuffing up my orders.
Toasting it when I ask for fresh.
Not cutting my subs and being kinda rude.
Putting pepper when I ask for salt only because I can't have pepper, so I can't even eat the sub and when I said something they argued with me and said they put pain salt even though I saw them put pepper on it.
Staff need to be more responsive to customer questions - arrogance is not a nice way to respond for good customer service.
Over all It's "Okay"
I would of rated it 5 star but some staff F*&k it for the rest that do the right thing.
Sometimes the food taste like dishwashing liquid.
