Very busy restaurant (a little noisy at times) but with amazing scallops with wasabi aioli and wakame and two types of smoky bay oysters.
The stone grill option is pretty cool as you can cook your steak to your liking. Also served with delicious sweet corn ribs and miso butter.

We had this venue booked for our shows earlier this year. Aside from drumming up more business for this business, They refused to let us advertise our show in their own place even though they had previously agreed it was ok
Throughout the duration of one of our shows a speech from a party that was in another room came over the speakers and disrupted the show and annoyed paying ticket holders. Would never dine here or bring any sort of business here again. Crackheads loiter on the al fresco area (if you want to call it that) in the downstairs area. Plenty of other options available in Adelaide i would strongly advise to avoid this place

The place is great. I dont know many places that offer the same experience. You can cook you steak on a rock. A very mice service. Not too expensice but a very nice place. Highly recommended. Nice selection of wines and food. I wpuld recommend it to book in advance and find a parking spot near by.

Too noisy for me. Average pub food very expensive for what was plated. My husband had Pizza which he enjoyed. I had the Cauliflower Salad very tasteless. I don't usually waste food but could only manage half.

My husband and I had dinner in the Veranda Restaurant for my Birthday. We had a fantastic table by the window with views over North Terrace.
The food was great and our server was fantastic. Christine obviously loves her job and was really attentive along with super friendly and a joy to have looking after us. It was a lovely dinner and would definitely recommend it.

Why, when it's literally next to each other can you not order food and beer together!

Visited on Thursday evening for dinner. The waitresses who served the food were lovely, however the girl who took the order was quite rude and not at all welcoming. Food itself was amazing and a great price. Will go back and hopefully different or more pleasant staff will be working.

One of the best pubs in the city. Friendly staff, decent food selection and reasonably priced drinks. Get upstairs to the balcony on a summers night and let them do the rest.

My trip to Adelaide was absolutely sensational. It was made extra special by my trip to this 8th wonder of the world located in the heart of Adelaide. With fabulous specials and 50 different varieties of beers you can't miss this place.

As per an amazing recommendation from Jake I ordered a rump steak on a stone grill. A one of a kind experience and the only stone grill left in Adelaide. Very delicious and a unique experience and is a must do for everyone.

The shaken espresso martini that was made for me was so good. So good I just had to get a second.

The customer service from Jake was second to none. Putting up with all my questions and unique requests. He made the experience so much better for me.

Can't finish this without giving a shout out to Ruby. Greeted with a smile and a bouncy personality I was highly impressed with her management skills. A powerful member of the team showing that a job can also be made fun while remaining professional. A+

Hats of to the team of staff I unfortunately didn't get to meet which I hope to meet in the future.

If I could give you guys more than 5 stars I would. By far the best bar I have ever been to and I can guarantee I'll be back as a regular. Well worth the price of an airfare from Canberra.

The gambling managers are unprofessional, especially Con & Lorry. Daniel is the only exception.

Just had a quick lunch. Long weekend menu was shortened. Staff were in different. Food was ok.

I met a friend 4/10/23 at 6pm. We sat at table 19. My meat lovers pizza was delicious But her chicken schnitzel was too dry and inedible sadly. I tried a few of her chips and they were also dry, pretty average meal for her. I will be back but will not order anything with chips. I hope this reaches the right people

Friendly service, easy online booking process that allowed highlighting our attendance at the theatre after lunch. Table was ready early in a nice location.

Had a good chicken burger needed more sauce but that was all and the chips were nice and the red velvet cake was alright and the coffee was average.

Wow! I mean where do I begin. I had my private and super intimate wedding reception here and it was just perfect. I want to say a massive thank you for the staff at Strathmore hotel - we had booked the private Verandah room for the night and the space was just magical. But what really made the experience for my husband and I were the attentiveness of the staff. A huge thank you to Bree, who helped assist me booking the space and answered all my burning questions in a timely manner and for her bright and warming personality throughout my experience communicating with her and not only that to the staff members who served us that night! They were professional, knowledgeable, attentive and lovely people in so many ways! The service was impeccable as well as the food.

With out a doubt if you are looking for a place for amazing food, amazing service and just incredible wait staff Strathmore is the place to go! Amazing, amazing, amazing!

Top notch staff and food. All the way from bar man to waitress, all very polite and patient. Havent had a stonegrill in a while and the waitress patiently explained to me how it works. Highly recommended
