Stony Creek Bush Camp Caravan Park reviews
55The Best relaxing time EVER. So PEACEFUL. LOOK AFTER BY STAFF VERY WELL. FRIENDLY HELPFUL & WELCOMNG STAFF. PLENTY TO GO SITE SEE NOT TO FAR FROM BUSH CAMP. BIG CAMP KITCHEN ON SITE. JUST BEAUTIFUL TO BE CONNECTED TO NATURE. CAN'T WAIT TO GO HERE AGAIN.
Loved our stay 3 nights powered and two empowered to give our new caravan a test.
Buy the way there PIZZA and GALIC BREAD are well worth it. Thank u will stay again.
Very friendly and helpful hosts - Kellie's pizza is amazing! Had a great weekend staying in the bunkhouse accommodation - perfect spot as a base for exploring Alligator Gorge & surrounds to Melrose. I will be back
Loved the setting in amongst the trees, horses, kangaroos etc. Enjoyed the 2 nights we spent here breaking up the trip to places further north. Has all the necessary facilities.
Nice and clean and tidy. I'd give it 5 stars, but the toilets are just tin sheds with no hot water and the showers are inside of a concrete water tank.
This is a fantastic place to stay. People are friendly and helpful. We had the best bush camp stay. Do yourselves a favor and spend a night or two.
$30 a night for a powered site is great value. Lovely settings next to the creek bed. Our young kids loved exploring. Amenities are fine and a luxury when bush camping. We really enjoyed the onsite pizza's, lamb yiro was amazing! Under $20 and easily feeds two hungry adults. Small playground for the kids. It was a lovely relaxed vibe and we really enjoyed our stay here. Firewood available for $20 a wheelbarrow. Also snacks, icecreams, basics & drinks available. They've thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay.
What a terrific park so much room, pizzas are awesome.we stayed 4 nights and had dinner at the hotel which was bloody great and good value
A great spot. Not a conventional caravan park - more like bush camping with conveniences. Roomy spots & open fires. Power available.
A wonderful quiet bush caravan park. Great owners. Toilets, hot showers, power. Easy day trip drive to other tourist areas.
Loved this camping spot! We were very happy with our stay here, from the environment to the host, everything was great. We had their amazing pizza for dinner and also bought some firewood for a camp fire. We'd come back here any day.
I found the owners to be very helpful and friendly, the camp grounds were perfect for our needs the showers were nice and hot could do with a towel rack or hooks on the wall beautiful location with lots to see and do

We held a family reunion on NYE and they helped to make it perfect! Venue was clean, neat and had everything we needed! War zone Gelsoft Skirmish was EXCELLENT! Lots of fun was had by all. Perfect service! Thanks so much!
Great place to camp a night but I recommend staying a few nights. Good choice of nice clean cabins or a spacious caravan lot. The owners were great people and very accommodating.
We will staying there again.
Great, well equipped Bush camp. Your camp is surrounded by native trees & shrubs, quiet, plentiful bird life & roos. Amenities clean & adequate. A great adventure for the young & old. Food & alcohol can be purchased on site. Our 2 Labradors gave the camp their approval.
Return visit for us and always have the best time here and best 5 star dinning with the food. Wayne and Kelly are down to earth people who could charge more being out in the bush but prefer to help the travellers out that are far from home. Beer and Spirits are cheaper than the pub. Will definitely be back again. Best little secret bush camp site in the Southern Flinders.
$10 dollars per head, we were allowed to stay until late in the morning and also checked in late at night. Showers were warm and the toilets were clean. Perfect for travellers passing by and looking for a place to stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great quiet
Location. We stayed a week and Could have stayed a lot longer.
Very peaceful, comfortable basic room with good air-con, en-suite toilet and shower. Room had a fridge and kettle.
Food was available to order, or you can cook for yourself in the camp kitchen. We only needed one night as we were visiting Alligator Gorge early next morning, perfectly located for that.
