Stonehouse Bar and Grill

The stone grill is amazing it taste so good. I have had a burger there and it was hot. The salad is so nice with the dressing

The stonehouse is an interesting place.

Now we have good things and bad things, but most of the bad things were just because it was the night of a footy match, so I guess it was mostly good things.

First things first: The Stonegrill.

You can get quite a variety of different types.

The one I got was the 400g, but you can get other, "interesting choices. "

For some reason, it takes, 45 minutes.to heat up a brick, place it on a special plate, served with chips, a salad, and your choice of sauce.

To their defence, they need to get all of the meat that stuck to the brick, then heat it up hot enough to actually cook the meat, then move it to the actual plate without getting a forth degree burn.

Service was fine. Atmosphere was a bit bland in my opinion, but honestly, it's just another unique restaurant with a bar and pokies full of elderly people who want to make more money to add to their retirement savings.

If you make a booking be clear on where your seated as there are 4 sections. Food is decent, but for us the the Stone grill is not the best. The meat is bland and if you have multiple meats they don't mix well with the flavours. Apart from that the food is quite good. Tables were dirty, but cleaned quickly when we sat down. Great service by all staff. Can get loud when the place gets busy.

Staff were friendly. The food and service were excellent. Our only drawback was the noise level, but that cannot really be helped.

Food was great well presented and enjoyed by everyone. The only thing not enjoyed was the noise at the only other table in the room by children and men at the table.

One of the best experiences of my life. Loved nearly everything. I'm 69 years old and l loved it. The salads could have should have been in a separate bowl. I repeat LOVED IT.
Returned a few weeks later and LIKED IT

Cool place to try out great if you can maintain self control, watching your steak sizzle with out eating before it's done

Steak tender as. Everything clean not too.noisy. If you have an appetite you'll not be disappointed.

Great place too eat try the stone grill rump it is very nice and well priced. Staff are also great and easy to talk with.

Really tasty steaks which were beautifully tender and juicy. Cooked to perfection and highly recommended!

All of our meals came out at different times and 2 were cold, my beer tasted of chemicals and I feel like we were forgotten. We won't be back

Ordered snittty. Got a nice long hair wrapped around my salad. All the staff did was replace the salad which had old lettuce in it. They could have offered a coffee or some discount but No! Not impressed.

Just had a stone grill for lunch, complimented by a pint of coke, there was nothing bad to say. The Dianne Gravy was on point, the steak was delicious and the salad and chips were well salted and dressed! Highly recommend going to the Woodville for a 600gram Steak + 5/5

Food was very average but I expected it to be really good because the place was packed on a Monday night for dinner. Best thing was the dessert.icecream on a cold rock. Service was excellent though, really friendly and welcoming bar and waiting staff in the dining room. The gaming room, not so much. Don't think I will go back after my first experience in a while. I used to go there years ago before all the fancy pokie money upgrade and it was a lot better food wise.

Awesome meal, though be wary of how hot the steak is straight off the stone. I think I burnt my tongue a bit but wow it was it was really nice and veggies were great too. The staff when you can catch them were great. Yayy, for $20 steak night and free gravy, $2.50 veggies was a bargain. I'll be back.

Was very good. A busy evening so quite a bit of noise. Maybe it was kids night because there were a lot if them making more noise than they should.
