Stockade Park is one of Adelaide's hidden gems. It's a tucked away that if you didn't know it was there you would have no reason to go there. It's the perfect spot for a wedding or gathering complete with waterfall and lovely Gardens.
Attended the Stockade Park for a wedding and it was nicely laid out. The waterfall could probably use a clean, but the rest of the park was tidy.
One of my best mates was married here and it was a beautiful day surrounded by beautiful people and lovely nature!
Beautiful setting, but not enough shade if away from the rose garden. Difficult to see the people walking up to the gazebo as rose bushes are very tall.
Its ok nice lawn area and waterfall. Good spot for weddings and parties. No childrens play ground though.
Free bbqs, nature walks, water fall and features, rolling gardens, public toilets and bird songs a plenty. Scenic and fairly private.
Nice quiet park with nicely arranged gardens and paths. Ample parking and newish toilet block with easy access for wheelchairs.
As a marriage celebrant loved officiating at a ceremony there. Very pretty. Quite and peaceful
Stockade Botanical park is a beautiful place for a picnic on a sunny day. The grounds are well maintained. There's a man-made waterfall in the park which sends the sound of water crashing into rocks through the air. This is a popular place for weddings too.
