The team at this is office are without a doubt the BEST in the business. I got lucky when finally I felt like I may just have found the right help. My personal officer could not do more
to help me re-enter the workforce. A previous work provider described my situation at one of my interviews, with an unusual level of frustration (considering he was employed)!? He said the problem I had was similar to me walking around with an umbrella above me which contained a plethora of complex situations which made my return to work almost impossible.
He was quick to add whilst he admired my enthusiasm he looked at me with pity. I know it's been a long road but I know if I am going to get there it will be thanks to the team at Status Salisbury. From the girls in reception, the bloke who runs the work ready course and great employees like Taylah, status Salisbury has to be one of the best employment agencies.

They have suspended my job seakers benefits the little amount I get they have suspended payments for a fortnight as I missed appointment Monday 1st / 11 they couldn’t fit me in until Friday the 17th of the 11 / i said ok no worries, but woke up Monday 8th / 11 and thought I’d ring and see if they have an appointment and so I could give them my birth certificate to get a police clearance and get it all in Motion { the soon I do that the better to get work obviously } so luckily they front seat woman say yes could you come in at 2pm so I say excellent see you at 2pm which was really helpful but out of my control i could not leave my house I rang them to let them know and explained that a SA detective would not let me leave my house as someone had tried cheat force his way in my front door to nit be court by police please read attachment? It explains everything they keep telling me because I missed two appointments I am suspended and to go without money for the fortnight which means I possibly get to get my house get my electricity and gas cut and they really don’t care Tanya Phillips

My experience at status Salisbury was an absolutely terrible experience. The receptionists seamed reasonably welcoming first visit, but this changed from there on. I would have to say all bar 1 or 2 of the staff that I dealt with personally were very unprofessional, rude, lazy, disrespectful and very narsatistic. Their team work skills were fantastic amongst each other but unfortunately nothing like that with clients. What I was feeling seemed to be the feelings of other clients that were attending with me. I was warned by a friend, that said"they are the worst" that I should get a transfer asap. I thought hopefully it was just my friend may have gotten off on the wrong foot with his provider and was being a bit dramatic. Oh boy was I wrong, I honestly think that the place should be shut down or basically start fresh and replace nearly all staff members bar a couple. Whenever I attended I would have anxiety knowing what I was going to have to try and get through another time.and Then every time after leaving I felt depressed and degraded even. Two of the staff members especially 1 would have to say were by far probably some nastiest peopleh I've had to deal with in my life. I felt a real bad almost evil energy from them. I had basically no help whatsoever with looking for work besides using their computers. I was barely provided with any financial assistance as they are allocated a certain amount to every client. Never was I offered any or provided with any additional training or offered any courses to assist in building my resume and qualifications. I ended up finding work myself, my provider became even more arrogant and rude at this point. I asked for some assistance with Metro cards for travel to and from work, I was told hey will organise it never happened after asking several times. I also needed help with work clothing and it was like trying to get blood from a stone. I finally got clothing but it was barely worth the trouble I had to go through to get them. I would have to say steer clear at all costs. You could be one of the lucky ones that is a family friend or a relative of one of the staff members or something. Everybody I know that has attended status Salisbury has had nothing but bad things to say about the place.

Status at Salisbury have been a mixed bag. I feel like they do not value peoples time, and not even their own time. While they have often seemed technically competent, they have a horrible tendancy to argue with people instead of listening to them. Bringing people down instead of empowering people. I have spent a few hours in this building in the past couple of months and i have seen my fair share of unprofessionalism and poor time management, whatever the reason for this internal culture, it is very uncomfortable to watch the way they treat people. Status Salisbury seem to be tied up in an endless bureaucracy under the hood, and they appear to miss the bigger picture for their clients. I would suggest they look at their own quality review processes.

Great place, the girls in the front desk are sooooooo friendly and helpful, such angels! But be careful of the Indian lady name Lyna or Lina. Today I had an appointment at 10am to look for work then Lyna said to me she needs me to update my agreement long story short she thinks she can put me in whatever she wants like work for the dole haha she didn’t even give me the option of studying haha I don’t even know her she’s not even my case manager and coming along acting like she’s the boss of me also she has A very bad attitude as well so careful of her! My case manager Kellie-Ann is the BEST!

Great place my consultant Peter has been amazing. He made me feel at ease helped me with my resume and cover letter and even helped with my job search. It is amazing how different you can be treated by different consultants. He explains everything and works in partnership with me. Peter is the best! If you are not happy with your provider go see Peter he understands.

I will be 100% with everyone, your first impressions will never be satisfied to high standards. My experience was the same and I felt uncomfortable at first. But I was transferred to another Agency and got a strong comparisons of the difference in the services provided and believe Status are great!

- Professionalism
- On time, every time!
- Supportive

Other agency's maybe too easy going. As a result they give off a vibe that they don't take their job seriously.

They have always sent me letters that arrived 3 days too 2 weeks before the date of an appointment. My most recent transfer to another agency sent a letter that only arrived today on the 26th, the date of the appointment was the 22nd on the letter.

I've said I wanted a Job, I've been very informal with what issues I face and what activity's I've been doing. I have shared my Industry insight and they have supported my decision making.
The other agency just shot me down with what I want to do and want to put me in a role as a courier driver based on my experience, ownership of a vehicle which has a few expensive issues and warehousing certification, regardless of why I quit even though I persevered for 1 year 4 months through the stress. My net profit for that time frame was $3520.00 casual until this year. 2 week's of work $1400 and $500 was spent on fuel leaving $900 for 2 weeks full time work.

Status will help and support you.
I am actually going to take in my information to Status as I have transferred back, and get them to help me find a suitable position part time position based on my experiences.

Mechanics / Courier / Warehousing / Programming C# / Unity Development / Game Design / Accounting

Good luck to everyone else, and if your looking for a job. Status will support you no matter how difficult so long as your determined!

Threatening young centerlink recipients with full loss of benefits if they dont attend an unreasonable job interview that is impossible to get to with out a license and it's shift work. Quite an uneducated lot of staff members at Status Salisbury, ignorant and insensitive also leads to youth suicide.
