Stanley Street Reserve reviews
11This playground is so different from all the others because it has a theme, 'bees'. The park is full of interesting bee items.
Very popular playground, wooden bee themed equipment. Public toilet. A tennis court is at the back of the playground.
I would rate 5 for toddlers if it had toilets to access. Lovely new clean bbq. Safe for toddlers. Fairly basic play equipment. 3 year old loved it.
Great park, kids love it, BBQ area looks good. The only problem is the public can't use the tennis courts. It only lost a star because of the tennis courts.
Nice small place ground, perfect for children up to 5, not much for older children to do. My 7 year old got bored very quickly
Lovely themed playground, Small but packs heaps in
Great for younger kids especially, even toddlers. The "hive" climbing frame is segmented inside so can explore lots but not fall more than a foot or so. Also fun to watch the tennis right beside.
Amazing playground for all ages.so much to do.great for creative play.
Loved it.
Lots of seating.ample shade.
Off street parking.
Bee themed playground for children, nice and interactive. Carpark small and rather muddy. Needs gravel on it. No public toilets. BBQ facilities and some shade
A nice little playground with a lot of thoughts put into it. There is a sitting table and a BBQ but no toilet.
The newly renovated Stanley Park looks BEEautiful! It has the bee theme and everything has everything to do about bees and and interesting facts around them. It has a BEEg slide made with honeycomb design, climbing walls, monkey bars, rope ladder, wooden design walking logs, a bee game tables, bee sculptures, a bee honey store and a nice grassy area to sit down. The playground is covered by by a large shade sail so the playground is protect from the harsh sun and the trees and houses in between protects it also from exposed heat. The Laurie Wallace tennis court is still right next to it and another largish green area to play ball right next to the tennis court. There is water fountain perfect to quench thirsty children after playing. There is also a brand new barbeque cooking area and a covered seating area next to it. There is several seating areas scattered all over the park. Only thing missing which would be a great addition is a toilet. All in all is a great park with a wonderful message about the importance of bees in our environment. A great planned idea for a playground with an educational purpose.
