Staazi & Co - The Greek Vegan Project reviews
69THE HEC WITH THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY A VEGAN SUBSTITUTE CAN'T BE AS GOOD. I OUGHT TO SIT THEM DOWN AT STAAZI & CO AND BLOW THEIR MINDS WITH SOME OF THEIR YIROS. IT'S LIKE ENTERING FLAVOUR TOWN AND BEING ELECTED THEIR MAYOR. GOOD STUFF!
This place was legit so good. I'm a big fan of eating meat and I love eating yiros and AB's. I saw how much people raved about this place so I thought I'd give it a try. This place did NOT disappoint at all! The vegan lamb tasted exactly like real lamb, I couldn't really tell the difference if you blind folded me. It was honestly amazing and I'm happy I found a place where I can eat my favourite foods that is plant based. Thanks again:)
I walked 3km to get there for my lamb Yiro I had been craving for. Totally worth it!
I wish I could buy the “lamb” per kilo!
Unreal Yiros and AB. They're great to work with at events and have had non plant based friends tell me it's the best they've ever had!
Food is just delicious- my favourite find since going vegan. It’s even better when they head down south to Milkless Cheese.please keep doing this
The best Vegan food eva! Seriously these yiros are so good good. My partner is not vegan and he loves them. You absolutely must try one. They also have vegan fetta ABs. And they make sweets like baklava, wagon wheels and cookies. All vegan! It's th best vegan food I've eve had hands down
The vegan gyros (calling it lamb kinda turns me off: D) was very good, just on point. And it’s fatty fast food but did not feel so greasy that it felt too much. The tzatziki was veeeery garlicy but super nice as well. Highly recommend:)
Love this place! Service is always friendly and fast, and the food is delicious and made with love. Cannot recommend them enough, 10/10!
Delicious, quick and lovely service - would recommend if you are a hungry vegan and want a fast satisfying bite, reasonably priced.
The plant based lamb here is so good that it's borderline disturbing. Seriously some of the best vegan meat I've ever had!
Service and cook times were also exceptional
Best Yiros I’ve had in my life. Both plant based chicken and lamb available, both amazing. Tastes like real meat. I wish there was a Staazi & Co in Melbourne
Yum yum, and no one was hrmed in the making of my food, always excellent, great staff and the food is simply uber delish
The last time I had this good souvlaki was back in Greece! The ingredients in this were to notch, soft and fresh wrap, lamb cooked so well I could taste all the flavour in every single bite and chips that don't taste soggy or stale. Definately worth coming back when I'm in Adelaide again.
Absolutely loved it! Since Greek food is mainly meat & dairy - I lost all hope for ever eating it again, so it was super exciting when we found Staazi & Co on our holiday in Adelaide. I wish we had a place like this in Brisbane! <3
My favourite Greek Resturant in Adelaide. Very affordable and amazing food. The spices and sauce was perfect and reminded me of Athens. I especially loved the waiters as they were friendly and never rushed you.
5 star for certain.
So good! The garlic and salt is what makes it for me! Agreed that it’s a *little* expensive but only by a few dollars.
Would love to see the menu expand a little as time goes by.
10/10 definitely recommend.
Had a "lamb" and "chicken" yiros. So good. Wouldn't have guessed it was vegan unless I knew before.
It's hard to top Staazi for incredible vegan food, some of the best I have ever had. I've brought lots of friends/family that are meat eaters (some very anti vegan.losers) and they haven't been able to tell a difference. The staff are always lovely as well. Don't order off UberEats if you are picking up, you can do it through their website, its cheaper and all the money goes straight to Staazi
Tasty af vegan Yiros. Very greasy, but in all the right ways. The vegan meat is pretty realistic as far as I can tell, so it's great if you're into that kinda thing.
