Fun filled day for kids to play and socialise
Okay equipment and choices have heaps of variety
Only problem we’re the big metal slides, heats up wen it’s too hot weather like yesterday

I can't remember how many times my family and friends have been here. This is one of the largest and most impressive playgrounds I have seen in Adelaide. Lovely children are spoiled for fun. Adults have space to exercise, chat and relax. Watching the sunset on the beach is also a plus point for this destination.
Highly recommended.

This play ground is great. You have to get there early to grab seats or a bqq. Could offer more undercover grassed areas but over all, incredible playground.

Great fun for kids and adults. Plenty of picnic areas with shelter, tables and green grass. Right on the foreshore and near the mangrove walk which is great

Place is fantastic. Shame parents that go can't monitor their child behaviour. My child was deliberately stood on which caused a minor injury. The BBQ we used was also very slow to cook. Loved to see the trams running from the museum.

Great place to take the kids out for the day. We even jumped on the Tram and headed to the Tram Museum, which the kids found interesting. The Tram family pass cost $28 for 2 adults and 2 children, entry into the museum was covered in the cost. I liked the fact that the kids could jump on the old Trams and ring the bells, which became a little noisy at one point.but worth it.

St Kilda Adventure playground is out of this world! It is a massive playground with so many play equipment that can cater to kids and kids at heart. It boasts of the tallest, castle slide which is truly a representation of the St. Kilda Adventure Playground. It has 2 kinds of flying fox a big and small one. Several swings, monkey Bar net equipment, see saw, several slides and a mobility swing. The playground has a huge grassy area and equipment is on soft sandy soil The park is filled with covered seating areas with BBQ facilities. It has a toilet area, water fountain and designated place where you can bring your pets. It also has a beautiful old 3 level wooden ship with wooden cannons looking over the water.which is part of the mangrove trail if you wish to follow the path. The playground has ample parking areas however if it gets full there is a large parking area next to the boat ramp which also is also 24hour campground. Overnight RV parking is $8 non concession and $6 for concession per night. There is a Bait Shop called Tackle and Tucker where you pay your fee, they also serve fish and chips, cold drinks and fishing items. They have a dump point with bore water faucet next to it. The parking lot is flat loose gravel bitumen, quiet and we'll lighted at night. There is a toilet block next to it that locks at night time as well as the boom gates to the jetty.

A good family day out. You would love the slides. Can get very busy sometimes but there is plenty of car parks around. Plenty of space if you want to sit on the ground but only a few covered benches / tables.

St Kilda playground is about as famous as an Adelaide playground gets. I remember it's first version hand built in timber and pretty rustic, but by a lone man. I think it was closed for a long time too unsafe (ie too much scary fun). SO now as before it's all about the slippery slides on 2 man made mountains. About 10 in all, longest and steepest slides you'll find in Adelaide. Most ore covered in the riskier sections, dad's and mums will have to take a breath and accompany your younger kids. You can slippery trackies recommended or a flat piece of cardboard.
One dedicated younger kids Yellow Submarine. The nothing to write home about. It is also a long flying fax, but tallest biggest swings I've ever seen and a lovely one off design of a rope climber.
Probably 10 other simple playground equipments.
Having gone this far (it's big!) I would have thought there's room for more for the smallest and for some more advanced things (South Terrace shows how its done.
A niggle is the gravel pathways.
The toilets are big and clean with zero graffiti so that's a bonus.
There are bbqs, and lawns, and benches, and but not much sun protection. Bring SP50 and hats.
Adequate nearby parking, and but unsurprisingly it does get busy.
Definitely 3 hour visit needed. Bring water, and I didn't see any taps.

It's a nice place, but I feel like there should definitely be more swings. My toddler had a meltdown because we had to queue for one of the two toddler-friendly swings. Sadly, y
there wasn't much to do for small toddlers in general while waiting.

This is a great facility for the public. It's a real shame that people park so poorly, taking up 3 spaces to park their boat in the main car park. The barbecues are hogged by groups for the whole day.
The children loved the place notwithstanding. It's just a shame that there are so many selfish adults in the world

Great place to take the kids to burn off some energy. A few of the apparatus we broken and needed some repair and maintenance.

This place gets really busy so it’s better to get there early.

There is a range of play equipment to suit all ages including a great wheelchair friendly instillation.

There is a restaurant and kiosk close by but bring a picnic to make it a free day out.

Alot of fun for the kids. Plenty do for all. Very tidy playground.
Slides could be checked a bit more by council due to distrustful people pouring sticky stuff down them. Ive been tgere a couple of different days with the same issue.

The only downside is the equipment needs to have a bit of attention and maybe upgrade to more new equipment as well more food shops or food vans
