We did the tasting, it’s not free but I highly recommend.
The view is fantastic, and the beetroot dip from the kitchen was delightful.

Came for a wine tasting & had some delicious drops. The Chardonnay was my favourite. Fabulous setting but it just felt a bit corporate. It was also quiet which took away from the atmosphere.

What an awesome experience to taste the great wines. We did the Flagship tasting and was absolutely satisfied with the flavours and range to suit all budgets.
Above all Dru with a U and Rachel awesome service and atmosphere.
Plenty of sales this day and future ones!
Awesome wines.

Sensational- one of our favourite wines. The Hugo Gramps experience was great. Drew was professional and very knowledgeable, was interesting to learn about the history behind St Hugo, Father and Son. Ambience and setting is just stunning we have also been lucky enough to have eaten lunch here previously and enjoyed the degustation dinner - LOVE it

Beautiful little restaurant. A perfect mix of history and modern design. Small menu with very thoughtful delicious items. And ofcourse the wine! Service was excellent too.

An absolutely fantastic lunch service today. Our host Ruby was so knowledgeable in the menu and drink recommendation. We were a group of 6 and looked after so well.
The food was fantastic and made our celebrations so special.

Took my partner here for his birthday and we were absolutely blown away by the food, the venue, the customer service and just the general atmosphere of the workplace whilst walking passed the kitchen. Seems like a great environment to work! Friendly staff.
Our waitress was Kat and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, I'm currently pregnant and have dietaries and they catered to my every need more than I could have asked for. We ate from the al a carte menu and the food was absolutely amazing, utterly satisifying. My partner indulged in the wine and he was amazed by the reds and Kat's knowledge of the wine. We will most definitely be back (I'm looking forward to trying the wines when I'm not pregnant), I cannot recommend this place enough.
We attended during a storm and the venue was still beautiful, looking forward to enjoying in the sun!
Thanks St Hugos, you did not disappoint!

Flew to Barossa from Melbourne, St. Hugos was high on the list.
Arrived to be greeted by a tarty tatted girl at the front who looked us up and down and told us they were booked out for the afternoon and couldn’t take us for a tasting. Her colleague then came to greet us saying that they could happily accomodate a group of 4. We were then taken to an almost empty dining room. We were then given a paddle of wines and a sheet full cut and copied tasting descriptions. It felt horrible to be lied to like that and if we wanted an experience of such little face-to-face interaction about the wine we were drinking we would have gone to our local Woolworths or next door to Jacobs Creek. Shocking experience.

Awesome day, food vans were onsite & a solo artist kept all entertained.
Adequate parking and great service

This is a big business winery. The wines are adequate and taste very much like big batch. They're drinkable but lack the love of a smaller winery. I'd strongly suggest visiting family owned and Australian owned wineries.

We came to St Hugos on Saturday for a wine tasting experience as well as lunch.

The lunch was in the main area which has glass walls in all directions, allowing you to see in all directions. They also put the fire place on which was a nice touch.

The lunch itself was amazing, with all dishes being extremely tasty. Some mentions noticeable mentions were the Salmon and Pork crackling! Would definitely recommend having lunch here if you are in the Barossa Valley looking for a nice spot for lunch.

Fantastic experience. Staff were lovely, food was exquisite, not overly salted nor strong in flavour, just perfect. Every wine was beautiful. Music was spot on, thank you St Hugo.

A brilliant place to stop for lunch while in The Barossa. Some of the regions best food paired with beautiful wines. Chelsea did a brilliant job of looking after us and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. The food is absolutely delicious and the suggested wine pairings are perfect.
