Spuds Roadhouse Motel reviews
51 Fuel more expensive and terrible service.
Clerk scanned our drinks a few to many times and over charged us.
Upon realisation sitting back in the car 1 minute later we went back in for a refund on the phantom drinks and were told that we were charged correctly.
The male clerk was rude and after 10 minutes of back and forth, being told several times we were wrong we got a refund.
Would avoid. Just get fuel in Port Augusta and Glendambo or Coober Pedy where it is cheaper.
The roadhouse is really great. You should try the burgers there are so yummy. People working here are lovely. Great stop.
Showers are clean and the freecamp is flat and quiet.
You can't do without it when travelling. Provides a lot of necessities when camping caravanning.
Absolutely delicious food and massive portions! Perfect stop over for camping on our way to Coober Pedy. Also picked up a few souvenirs from here too!
Camping is $5pp. Pay online or I think there's a machine there. Very basic but has flushing toilets. Decent meals at the roadhouse.
Delicious sausages and mash. Extremely generous helping best I have had in a long time. My husband enjoyed his very generous serve of fish and chips. Very clean. We had visited Woomera before lunch only a few kilometres down the road.
Fuel stop and stretch the legs.
Has plenty of parking, public toilets, showers and sheltered tables.
Nice big flat area out the back for only $5 donation. Not dog friendly in beer garden though!
Great location to stop for outback trips if the distance ends up being too much (was traveling from Yulara). Good coffee, Good food with generous serves. Rooms are clean, just very basic.
Biggest ripoff, fuel expensive, beer expensive. Plan with Roxby Downs or Glendabo instead. They Hella abused the prices here
Safe overnight stop with coin-operated showers. This is community operated. Please add your $5 in the donation box on the side of the BBQ.
Toilet shower flat area. More like a commercial servo than an outback roadhouse. Just had a weird feel. Gaming room was a first on this trip. Beer was cold and refreshing. Coffee was not so, but it is a lo g way from anywhere so they probably service the machine as best they can. Showers are great 2 × 1$ coins. If you are on a budget, go in together and you can both have a 3min shower fro $2. They run for ages. Enjoy. #Trek2reconnect
Nice dining and drinks area, good vibes, decent food, cold drinks.
Room had lots of bugs and thin pillows, generality run down but had all the essentials to get by.
Called in for dinner and a few drinks
Great selection of beers and wines
Burgers and fries are top shelf
Friendly staff, surprisingly large & well equipped rooms at a reasonable price. No blankets on the beds, we took in our sleeping bags. Pub food menu limited & nothing vego
Room was great value, though I had to sleep in my sleeping bag, as the blankets were only bed sheets, in May it was a little cold. Shame my scotch steak was a rump and I couldda use it as a substitute tyre. Overall however it's a well located and handy roadhouse.
Hey it's a Roadhouse on the journey through the centre of Australia. We loved it. Great Beef Stew specials. Basic rooms and there is lots of space for vans and motor homes. Close to Woomera.
The burgers were better than expected, toasted quality buns.chips were crunchy and tasty.service was excellent and the setting perfect to stretch the legs and kids to move about
The food and service was great. The place is very clean. There is a great range of groceries, fuel and even pokies.
