75Great place to shop got premade curtains for cheap as, will always go back helpful staff as well
After looking on line to purchase a Friskars cutting blade & according to the website it was in stock I went to the Gepps Cross store. I went to the appropriate section & was unable to find it, so I went to the front 'service' desk & asked the girl to look it up & yes it was supposed to be in stock. She directed me to the Party service desk for assistance. No one there so I rang the bell 3 times, still no service. I made my way to the haberdashery section where someone was serving. After waiting there to ask, she said they were short staffed & tried to call someone. After 5 more minutes of waiting at the party desk again I left the store. I had wasted enough time. NOT GOOD ENOUGH SPOTLIGHT GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. Two issues here: 1. Adjust your stocks on line accordingly or is this just to get more people into the store thinking there is stock
2. Ensure there are a suitable number of staff in your store to serve your customers
Good range of products. I'm not too sure about how they run sales. I rarely find a bargain. It feels like the regular prices are inflated?
Spend a far bit of time at spotlight. Even o holidays i will visit a spotlight store looking for the right wool for a project.
Had the item that was not at port rd spotlight.they hold items for the next day at end.from when I rang.held at desk.easy to find and get.
Today it wasn't so busy so was pleased to look around & buy what I needed. Plenty of Sale items at this time of year
Cross because quilt covers labelled on a sign as being double sized at $30 but were actually as marked prices. How hard is it to put "From" on a sign or "as marked ". Not the cashier's fault but definitely bad shop policy.
A bit too crowded with stock.
Pathways not clearly marked.
It usually takes me 20 minutes to find one item when I just want to go in and out of the store.

CHECK WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGED. Went to this store to buy some blinds. The price I was told on the counter was much higher than what the price tags on the shelves showed. When I asked for them to check, the manager said the prices on the price tags belongs to some other blinds. On the shelve you could see only one blind type, and with a large price tag though which was different from what they were going to charge me. After 30 minutes of waste of time I left the store very dissapointed and without even a single appology from the store manager.

$7 for a fat quarter is ridiculous. Also my daughter didn't feel well while in the store and there was not even a chair for her to sit on. Just as well she didn't thrown up. It was extremely stuffy.
To be honest every time I have gone to this shop the queues was long and most of the time only one person at the checkout. Long waits at the materials and at the party section. Staff is not always very friendly either properly because of the stress of there not being enough staff. I love shopping at Spotlight but Spotlight Gepps Cross needs to up their game. I don't like giving negative reviews, but this is positive criticism.
Not happy with the place - I wanted to purchase 4 x 165cm of a fabric and I was told I couldn't. I'd have to get all of them in one roll, and would have to cut it myself at home. I don't have space and rulers to cut it straight, so I didn't want to do that. I wondered whether they refuse to serve you if you walk in four times asking for one more piece, but haven't tested it. Just went to another spotlight where they didn't have any issues with this.
Went yesterday to get material for our greyhounds onesies, they have so much to choose from, it's like the oldest saying even the kitchen sink they would have it ️
What a bunch of liars. Website said they had Yankee Candles in stock and went instore to find nothing. The shelves were unorganised and looked like a Elephant trashed the store.
Plenty of things and variety to choose from and pricing very good. Staff were very helpful also.
Store said it had Yankee candles available online at this store, got there and there were no Yankee candles. Asked a staff member where the Yankee candles were, she said they had sold out, showed her the website, she shrugged and said she didn’t know.
Not a terrible store besides being a bit crowded but the shelves are always empty or disorganised and the service is bad. Not enough staff. The last 2 times I've been recently there has been 1 person serving a long line of people meaning you have to wait about 15 minutes to be served which sucks when you just want to be in and out.
The layout is extremely cramped and the middle aisles are very difficult to walk down with all the items for sale. I only went there because I was in the area.
