I arrived for my appointment and dealt with 4 staff members, the majority of them professional and pleasant. Thankfully, my prescription had not changed sufficiently during the last year to warrant new glasses. However, the last staff member checked my health insurance to see what I might be able to use for possible new sunglasses/reading glasses. She mentioned a figure and when I asked if that was the amount I would have to pay she answered me in a very rude and demeaning manner. I told her to forget it's - I won't pay to be treated so rudely.experiencehas

Rupal, the optometrist is amazing. She is very caring and thorough with the eye checks. The rest of the staff are also amazing. They are so friendly and helpful with frames Highly recommend.

Excellent thorough testing on eyes and very helpful assistants. I would only say that if pricing could be on all glasses that would be very very helpful to customers to assess there budget price point. Other than that i highly recommend Specsavers Marden, South Australia.

Very friendly staff who knew what they they doing. Helped me find the perfect glasses. Very happy. The Manager Deanna was great and will definitely go back.

I attended the Marden store for an initial inquiry and later to have an eye test done. I was impressed by the care, professionalism, and friendliness shown by the staff I interacted with. Luke took my initial inquiry and he went above and beyond, phoning me later in the day with some advice. I later attended the store and interacted with Dylan, Claire and Deanna, all of whom were extremely courteous and friendly and helped me out in a very professional manner. I was made to feel very comfortable and found some great glasses at a very good price. I will definitely be back.

Worst experience ever. Misguided and behave rudly. Wasted my 1h without having any productive outcome. Will not recommend.

The staff are welcoming and very helpful with selecting glasses. It's great to see the same staff at annual appointments - and obviously the sign of a happy workplace! The optometrist, Claire has a calm and gentle nature, as well as being highly trained in her field. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

I have been to a few different Specsavers and have always had a great service. However the service I received at Marden Specsavers was excellent.
From the moment I got there everyone was informative, professional and friendly.
Rupal went above and beyond with explaining options for me and I felt she really listened my needs and provided me with options other optometrists hadn’t done before.
Deanna was also exceptional as not only did she consider my needs she also gave me valuable feedback and help when it came to selecting glasses, something that as a customer shopping on their own, really needs.
Thank you for fantastic health care and customer service.

Claire was very friendly and kind to my mother that had a scratch in her eye, she was very irritated and annoyed but luckily Claire informed us about what’s happening and the best solutions, now coming out of the optometrist she feels better and much more relieved.

I live in different suburb, but still go to the Marden store, and have been for few years now. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
I went on saturday to the store because my glasses broke and being multifocal i needed them. I got a replacement straight away, no questions asked. I would like to thank Angela for her exceptional customer service.

First tie getting glasses in Australia and am very happy because the Indian doctor did a good job. Did not fit properly but the handsome young indian man helped me. I think store is small for busy saturday afternoon. Specs did not cost as much as other stores i looked at but qiality is still there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment, the staff were very professional and accommodating. Special thanks to Ms Rupal Shah for checking my eyes, and Anne for helping with the glasses selection. Cheers from a country guy.

Vincent different one to me (the optometrist) was awesome! Saw me at short notice and dislodged a piece of metal from my eye quickly and easily. Highly recommend him.

Very helpful and friendly staff. My first time purchasing gradual glasses and I'm trying to get used to them. It gives me headaches, dizzy and not sure if I can get used to them.

I am at Specsavers Marden just now & have already had my eyes tested. Next I was supposed to choose a multi focal frame & confirm the order (as I usually do each year as i am with HCF Pvt Fund). But this didn’t happen as planned. The lady with green top quoted $100 excess for one multifocal glass after checking my HCF Pvt Health card. But I have been paying $50 for this glass at Norwood SpecsSavers? Since last 2 years I have been a regular client of Norwood spec savers & have purchased EXACTLY SIMILAR glasses in end 2020 as well as end 2019 & each time I have paid $50 excess for one Premium multi-focal specs from their $150 frame-range with no thinning & no anti-glare. I called Norwood SpecsSavers while waiting at Marden Specsavers &they have confirmed this quote just now? What a waste of time & effort! Now I will have to visit my usual branch of Specsavers at Norwood

I'm not a small man, but obviously invisible. Cancelled our two appointments. Not going to put up with this rubbish. Not too busy, just sh! T service - I was the first one in the store waiting for 10 minutes people! Tried to buy local, but wasted my time. Will go elsewhere to get "some" service.

One star cause there is no way to put none. The worse customer service ever. It took me 2 hours to finally get out from there. Everything is so disorganized, staffs running from one side to another and seems like everybody is doing everything and no one is doing NOTHING. Everyone is just all over the place.

I’ve left feeling not confident at all with everything since the guy that works there offered to glue my old glasses and of course if someone from a Store that does glasses offer you this you at least think it will be a professional glue right? But no, wrong. When I came back to get it it was glued with SUPER GLUE and was full of marks and unable to use, so since then I have no glasses at all to use and the worse is that they didn’t helped with anything, offered anything to try to fix the problem. I was literally sited there for 2 hours and nothing was solved.

Booked an appointment online for a specific time that suited. But it turns out that the online booking time isn't guaranteed and less than 24h before the time I had booked I receive a text giving me a new time. When able to reach staff I asked about this. It's very common they said. I asked if they could pass on feedback that the online booking system should inform customers and they were dismissive. Not happy with this lack of customer service.

Terrible experience, the eye testing and prescription was good, but then when my glasses arrived I noticed I had problems reading from afar, I went back, my eye sight was tested again but the manager offered to charge me over $700 to correct, even though I returned within 3 months. Long story short the manufactured lenses for multi vocals was wrong. I went to Specsavers in Norwood, the optometrist picked this up after testing and the manager of the Norwood store was a great help and sorted everything. One star if I could give no star I would, just giving my honest experience.
The 3 month warranty counts for nothing at the Marden franchise.
