Small but mighty direct-to-public wholesale butcher. Excellent service and wide range of meats, game and seafood. Excellent specials to make bulk buying a breeze or a family gathering economical. It's my regular butcher. I recommend the yiros kits, the Greek Lamb sausages, Maryland fillets and the crumbed French Cutlets. If you want a spit roast or Greek sweetbreads, these are the people to contact. They have an app and they deliver to most of South Australia. Give them a try.

You have lamb shanks on the website for $2.50 each but when you go there you charge $8.90 kg because it says sold out on your website but you have them ripoff

Best lamb chops you'll find in Adelaide and the cheapest too! Their Angus porterhouse steak is premium restaurant quality as well. Chicken drumsticks are excellent value nice and big and they always weigh the meat slightly over! I wouldn't bother with the rump steak though it's not what I expected although the other cuts of meat I mentioned are 10/10. I do like how they offer to sell you the meat whole as well so you can cut it up yourself, thanks Angelo family I wouldn't shop with any other butcher.

I like this butcher most of the time, sometimes they do a bait and switch on products so you go in expecting one thing and what they're selling is not what was advertised. Fillet steaks on special end up being random offcuts bits and pieces. Beef short ribs special but what they're actually selling is beef spare ribs, which is definitely not the same as beef short ribs even though the two young assistants behind the counter adamantly told me it was. So I trusted them and treated it as short ribs and had the toughest most leathery ribs ever because spare ribs cook in 1/6th of the time of short ribs. Should of trusted my instincts, I knew it wasn't the same which is why I asked, and if it was the same IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN LABELED SPARE RIBS WHILE YOUR SPECIAL WAS FOR SHORT RIBS.

For whatever reason the scotch fillet steaks and t-bones and even minute-steaks are some of the toughest leatheriest pieces of meat I have ever received.

The rib-eyes however are high quality when available, same for the skirt steak which another bait and switch was pulled and flank was sold to me instead.

All in all, it's a good value butcher but you have to know your meat because they pull some dodgy bait and switches every now and then.

Found Speciality Foods about 2010. Never had a bad cut of meat. Price is always excellent. Service WELL- Efficient- Friendly - Fun and a laugh come to mind.

I always find something different at Specialty Foods. Yesterday they introduced me to Pastitsio and my new favourite type of "sausage" Sheftalies. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Huge range of fresh, frozen and ready made products.

Very terrible HR. The way you looking for worker is horrible. Very un manner when your HR talked to people who refuse the job you offered. Your HR is a little scary, this is why people no longer interesting to apply the job with you.

Never ever seen a truck driver of Specially Foods being soooooooo rude! One old guy and an old woman blocked the entrance of our private car park and refused to move even the tenant told them to. The tenant was unable to get into the car park! Remember, you are not allowed to get into the private car park at any time for any reason. To find a correct car park is your first lesson of being a qualified truck driver, you are obviously not qualified at all. To not to bring any troubles to others is the bottom line of being a human, or if you did, please be nice and kind and apology but not being rude. I have witness who has seen the whole story, please let all your drivers obey the rules and be nice, don't let them destroy your Specialty reputation. Apology is needed when you are totally wrong. Shame on you, the rude truck driver!
