I visit Victor regularly and this is my go to gym when there. The staff are lovely and welcoming and the gym itself is incredibly clean. Equipment is well maintained. Have been using this gym for as a casual for over six years and couldn't recommend it enough

Do not sign up here. I was told upon signing up I could cancel anytime with two weeks notice. No contract was sent to me upon sign up. 6 months later I decided I wanted to cancel my membership. The person on the desk told me it had been cancelled. The next day I get a call to say they actually will not let me cancel as apparently it was a “lock-in” contract despite never being told this. Multiple phone calls and emails to the club unanswered and I am still stuck paying. Extremely unprofessional behaviour from all staff and managers I’ve been able to speak with.

Do not go here. Unprofessional staff. Never offered a free trial to test out the gym. Gym equipment all outdated and the weight increments go up massive. Tried cancelling before the second payment come out, told by multiple staff they would cancel it and look into it for me as the staff member was unsure how to do it herself. To then call and message and someone just say come in to see them, I did that and they told me I could pay out the fee or continue to have my payments taken out for 3 months? What a joke. Gym is never cleaned. Mats are old as the hills, there is actually no mat in the mat?) Haha no wet wipes to wipe down equipment after use like EVERY other gym. A dirty chux cloth that's piled at the front of the gym and re used all day by multiple members.

Avoid if you want a good gym, go to anytime Victor or any other gym would be better than this.

Booked with Spa clubs for a brief stint of University placement (3-4 weeks). However after cancelling, Spa clubs continued to bill me for the following 3 payments, taking a total of $80 out of my account without permission. It has since been 3-4 months of talking to unhelpful staff and a manager who promised me I would get my money back but has not followed through. Incredibly unprofessional and horrible service all round. Do not recommend unless you want your money taken without any way of getting it back.

Easy going friendly staff. Got a discount on a casual visit - thanks. Fairly new gym (3+ years) and recently refurbished, so rubber mat smell. Gym equipment lay out is neat, brands include Matrix, Maxim and Fitness World. The curved treadmill is refreshingly different! Group classes, rpm, creche and change rooms are upstairs. Caters for Department of Veteran Affairs clients. Love the small grassed area outside with bars and tractor tyres. The A/C is excellent but I would dub this place 'the sweat shed' in summer. 24 x 7 for members. Check it out.
