Gave 1 star because my corona was cold and tasted like beer, the only thing that did taste as it should have. Yellow fried rice was bland and tasteless. Lemon chicken had a sour taste, but nit lemon sour and every item of food was stone cold and we ate in. I regret not reading the reviews prior and without doubt the worst Chinese we both have ever eaten. Might as well rip up the 65 dollars and throw it on the road. 90 percent of both meals left on the table, and we walked out.

We really enjoy the food from here.we've never eaten in, but choose takeaway, and usually drive to the beach and eat while enjoying the view.
There is a very wide and varied selection of dishes to choose from.absolutely delicious.without exception.

Ordered lemon chicken. Was cold and very hard. Appalling meal in reality. Give one star is one star too many. Absolute waste of money. Never again

This place has gone downhill from previous years. Had a banquet for 5 people for dinner tonight and the fried rice was chewy and hard. I expect fresh tasting food not food from the front where people get takeaway. No one else in there on a Saturday night, that must say something. I told the lady that the food was not up to standards, she said that she would take $9 of my $180 bill for the fried rice. Are u serious! $9. She could of at least deducted the drinks which came to $25. Won’t be going back there again. Not very nice food!

That was the worst chinese we have eaten,
spring rolls could break someone’s tooth, not fresh at all, the sweet sour pork was about as fresh as the spring rolls, the curried chicken was all curry powder, even fried rice was yuck

Came in to get a quick meal for Mum and I. We love chicken Satays and special fried rice. Satay sauce was sooo salty! I called to let them know as it is the right thing today and was told that the chef makes it like that every day and follows the recipe. He obviously doesn't taste the food as he would have a heart attack with that much salt. No offer of refund or replacement so that's the last time I am going there. Very disappointing.

Used to be a favourite. Had not been for around 6 months and will not be returning. Half filled containers. 2 meals barely edible. Has REALLY gone downhill!

Special fried rice was not fresh and was not nice and rather cold. Satay steak was too tough to chew off the skewer. Spring rolls were cold. One star goes to the steamed dim sims which were steaming hot.

The lemon chicken had such thick deep fried batter I could hardly find the chicken.yuck! Won't be ordering from this place again

Picked up a takeaway last night at 8.15pm, honey chicken & rice, absolutely disgusting, greasy as hell and all batter! What a waste of $14.50! Never again! Give this place a miss for sure!

The flavour is there but unfortunately in all of the battered chicken dishes the chicken is covered in some weird floury substance before battering.

See in the attached photo, the chicken is on the left, compared to what they coat it in before they batter (on the right). You get the tiniest piece of chicken covered in a gross spongey textured flour substance, then batter.

Would not recommend.

TERRIBLE SPRING ROLLS. First time ive had them and they are so bad its made me make this review. They are dry, tough, , quite small and only detectable flavour is pepper and potato. Worst of all they are quite hard to bite and eat because of how dry and touch they are. I took them home to add soy sauce and they are still TOO DRY TO EAT AT ALL.
Most of their food is average at best but the FRIED RICE and SPRING ROLLS are both a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. I tried the fried rice about 6 times and it was barely edible 5 out of the 6 times.
They have also raised the prices about $1-2 (could just be because of covid times) but we will see if they lower them back to $11 when everything else goes back to normal, not worth it at this raised price.
If youre looking for actually good spring rolls, drive the extra 2mins to the BAMI KITCHEN on beach road, their spring rolls are AMAZING, BIGGER AND THE SAME PRICE, $5 FOR 3.

Overpriced over cooked.absolute dissatisfaction and disappointment. I strongly suggest taking the time to go fernaly Chinese as they take pride in their food unlike this disgraceful so called restaurant. Couldn’t stomach any more then half of the portion for 19$ honestly would have preferred fast food hjs ect and that’s coming from a ex meat processing worker who knows what horrible cuts make the patties

Worst special fried rice I've ever eaten. It's undercooked, tastless, frozen veg and spam like meat. Yuk. Please do not order food from here. I won't be again.

How do you not know how to make rice properly? By the way it is very apparent you are using McCain's frozen veg mix for your fried rice and tom yum soup (also, a gingery odd tasting mess). Your chef needs to consider a different line of work.

Worst takeaway I ever had, “special fried rice” just like stem rice with very little vege and ham, curry chicken nothing taste like curry, Singapore noodle even taste disgusting, oh my goddess

Food is not fresh it’s reheated absolutely disgusted after we asked them if they make it fresh after seeing food in a baemaree at front of shop. Hopefully we won’t get sick from the food not feeling too well already?

What a disgusting pile of rubbish. Does anyone in that shop know how to cook Chinese food? I've given them so many chances time after time and still getting worse not better. Fool me for continuing to go back. Food is always cold, the rice is boiled not fried. AND now they have put the price up to $12.50! I had to throw most of tonight's food in the bin as couldn't stomach any more than a few mouthfuls. DISGUSTING. Won't be back

Takeaway has this place change change hands all the lovely staff gone food not good you use to get flavoursome food containers pack and what happen to the dims there like dried up prunes

Had a great time, the food was excellent
Staff were friendly, service was good (within 35 minutes) 7 people.
