The new gap payment ($40) isn't justifiable for the service you get. Every doctor runs late, will rush you and be dismissive of your questions, not examine you properly - if at all and then charge you $80. It's so important to have caring doctors, and this place no longer does.

Had a referral to see a Dr at this clinic which I emailed on the 18th October 2021. Rang 3 times since to see if Dr would see me and told they would follow up and let me know by return call each time.rang again today 28th October to be told Dr could not see me and this was in the records on the 20th. I don't normally do reviews but absolutely disgusted that they were obviously too lazy on my calls to check the records delaying me being referred to someone else. Glad I left this clinic years ago

The Dr's at Sheidow Park Medical Centre are all excellent. Dr Trang deserves a special mention as she really engages with her patients in a professional and caring manner. Her willingness to listen and help resolve medical issues is outstanding. Dr Trang exceeds my expectations and i have full confidence in her medical advice. I recommend others in the area to Southcare Medical Services.

I am so grateful to find this practice that has practioners in all areas, medical, admin, blood testing and skin care, who listen and support me with my medical journey. (Many more services, just what I have used)
Dr Trang Nguyen deserves a special mention. Her logic, manner, support and knowledge encourages me to seek medical support when needed. Thank you Southcare Medical.

Unfortunately one of the receptionists is extemely rude on numerous occasions and makes it an unpleasant experience.
Sometimes they send appointment reminders and sometimes they dont. This is frustrating because most reputable businesses do this to overlook you accidentally forgetting and missing your appointment.
My head made a trick on me as sometimes single parents with a chronically ill child may. I got my appointment wrong (no reminder given). Im so anoyed that I did this, but I also wish I got the reminder they 'sometimes' do.
I rang up to explain and appologise and see what else is available. The receptionist was so blunt and rude.
She doesnt know my story or my daily challenges.
I suggest the practice consistently followes up on their reminders and practices empathy and understanding and not shaming.

Very friendly efficient staff. Dr Murrary, Dr Pater and Dr Trang are such wonderful doctors who I mainly see but saw Dr Joel Wren today what a terrific young man he was lovely and very caring and explained everything in detail with a lovely sense of humour.

Absolutely appalling the way Dr. Murray spoke to me and her lack of compassion or care.i explained to her why i was there she just wrote me a script for tablets that were not even relevant for my actual problem. I asked if she could examine me and give me a refereal for an ultrasound, she complained to me in a rude abrupt tone that I was lucky she could even see me as she squeezed me in and she was in a hurry to get to see her Dad and there was no point examining me and mocked me for it. When i told her not to be so rude and make me feel guilty for seeing me for a whole 3minutes that i will be reporting her, she hesitantly gave me a ultrasound refeerral and continued to be rude. She honestly left me speechless and in tears. Dr. Murray needs to leave her personal issues at home and not take it out on her patients. Kindness and compassion goes a long way. Traits thankfully that the wonderful Dr. Colley has.

The slowest service ever! Made an appointment and waiting for over almost a hour. Will never go back again. Have to mention, not in the busy period.

Staff very friendly and the doctor looked after me well.wasn't in a hurry to get me out the door and made sure I knew how the medicine would work. They fitted me in very quickly despite the short notice I gave them. I hadn't been there for a few years as my work commitments took me too far away. Definitely will be back.

As other people have stated there can be long wait times for this place. Last time I was there I waited 50 mins with 0 communication from staff to let me know how things were going until I had to ask myself. Emergencies happen, this doesn't mean we should be left sitting around with no clue what's going on for hours. If doctors are running late common sense would say let the people know what's going on and how long things are expected to be. Staff need to learn better communication skills.

Spoke to Janine this morning to try book in an appointment and once i said i will try to go elsewhere to get in this morning as the Afternoon appointment didn't suit she hung up on me. There was no "thank you bye" or just a simple "bye" It was rude and unprofessional.

Always get a friendly approach from the staff at the desk. Very genuine, very approachable. They will always do the best they can for us. Helen Murray is outstanding and makes sure you're taken care of at the highest standards. She has supported both my pregnancies and it's been amazing. Only downfall is she is so hard to get an appointment for (probably due to the fact that she's so good at what she does) especially for unforseen illness however, just about every doctor in that clinic conduct fantastic consults.

Attended 13/2/17 for a health assesment which i am required to have as a part of driving a heavy vehicle. There are required a set time intervals these must be performed. I was essentially refused this service as due to work commitments was unable to see the Dr that performed this medical assesment 2 years ago. I have checked and there is no legal requirement for me to see the same Dr. Have taken by medical needs elswhere. Strangely enough without any problems.

Excellent. Dr Pater has been a wonderful GP for myself and children, very caring and wonderful doctor.
