South Australia's Southern Most Point reviews
17 Must visit on a nice sunny day. The ocean looks amazing, different shades of blue can be seen in the water, don't forget to stand there and soak in the view, super windy, but worth the view. This is a 23-minute drive from Mount Gambier, but it's worth going.
Will be going back again
Amazing place to visit, I personally felt closest to nature. It was a bit cold & windy today, but it didn't stop me from admiring this beauty of nature. You just have to be a little bit careful around the edges of the cliff, as it is a bit unstable.
Amazing views here. This only disappointing thing was that we came down to see the lighthouse as well, and it was being renovated because you couldn't get to it. It's not on the shore line it's back further up the road. Other than that this place was awesome to see.
Very interesting place to visit, easy access by car. This place is worth a visit. The old road sure is interesting. You wouldn’t drive on it now
Cool place to visit if you are in the area. Beware of the cliff edges and stay to the paths!
The number of shipwrecks show how dangerous the area is and the history of the old lighthouse is interesting.
Beautiful scenery and trails. Despite being 38 degrees, the sea breeze made it much more enjoyable.
Most amazing most southern point of the most amazing South Australia. Never ceases to amaze me how southern of south it really is.
Can’t miss this place when travel in Mt Gambier.
South Australia’s southernmost point.
Would definitely recommend stopping in at this gorgeous place! So much to see.
Lovely little town near by aswell.
Stunning coastline and well worth spending time to explore. Get off the main roads and discover these regional areas.
Stunning.
South Australia's Southern Most Point is another natural wonder one must see its scenery.
There are multiple viewing areas to stand in awe of the breathtaking views you can experience.
The sound of the waves crashing onto the rocks is a pleast relaxing sound whilst the sun touches your skin and the sea breeze cools you down.

You can literally see in maps there is an additional 10meters South you can travel but hey it’s a pretty cool spot
Stunning views here. Not too far from Port MacDonnell. We took a drive around the beautiful, rugged coastline and stopped off at a few lookouts. The water was a lovely deep blue and dotted with white washed waves. You can also stay overnight at these lookouts if you are fully self contained. Very windy though. Well worth a visit.
You cannot miss this place. Such an amazing showcase of Mother Nature through gorgeous scenery. You could spend hours here and see something new every few minutes. From Penguins on the rocks, to marvellous rock formations that you can walk through. The water crashes so close giving the amazing atmosphere of relaxation and redemption. If you want to take a moment, this is the place to be.
You cannot go around the coast and not see this location. A beautiful showcase of Mother Nature with so many things to see. From penguins perched up on the rocks to insane natural rock formations, you will find yourself here for hours finding new things every minute. Have a walk through the rock formations and experience the relaxing sound of the ocean crashing against the land. This place is sure to bring you peace and calmness. MUST SEE!
Don't miss this spot if you're heading down to Port MacDonnell. It's just a short drive but it's well worth it. The views are spectacular and is a photographer's delight.
There's plenty of parking and also a closed off road that leads you to walk to Cape Northumberland by foot; unless you're on two wheels.
