Soul Origin Rundle Mall

We ordered 2 coffee’s from the shop. At the time of order we asked service person to scan the 2 coffee’s so that we can have rewards in app when it’s due. She was very rude and said when we scan once all your coffee’s comes through in the app rewards.

After 5 mins and after closing and restarting app the order didn’t come through in app, we asked the same person again and she blatantly lied that it doesn’t work like that and you need to order separately if you want all your coffee’s to appear in the app rewards.

Probably the person should stop the lie and give honest information to customers.

I love this place the food is so fresh and tasty. Many different choices and the service is so friendly. Well done…

Such an enjoyable experience! Ordered a schnitzel Panini and almond cap, both very delicious. Very speedy service with a smile. Highly recommend!

Decent salads and sandwiches- but for the love of god DO NOT buy their wraps unless you’re wearing a trash bag, the paper twisted under the bottom does not hold the ridiculous amount of sauce so on your first bite it will drip through and onto your WORK PANTS.
That was a very expensive lunch break to have to go and buy a new pair - after buying a wrap with soggy ingredients I couldn’t stomach finishing…

The service was great and there were lots of options, but the espresso in the cappuccino was very weak.

I love going to Soul Origin Cafe at Rundle Place, the staff are very friendly, for their service I give them 10/10 100%, I love their cappuccino and food that they cook at Cafe, Molly is my very close friend forever and she is the best Soul Origin Cafe Manager, I give Soul Origin Cafe 20/20 200%. Great little shop for a quick cup of coffee, iced drinks, salads, snacks, sandwiches, paninis, baguettes, pastas etc! No waiting, fast, efficient and helpful service! All the impressive smiling staff seem happy enough and must love what they do and that's good to see from a new client's point of view!

I walked in origin as they were closing today and was greeted horribly by a girl with blonde and brown long braids. The way she spoke to me was honestly horrid as I was simply looking at at the display, barley a foot in the store. Gross behaviour.

I used to buy lunch from Soul Origin before Covid happened but stopped during COVID times for obvious reasons.
This afternoon, I was in the city and Soul origin was my obvious choice because of excellent past experience. However, I made a mistake. I paid 14 bucks for large salad portion that gave me options to choose from 4 salads. The server lady was extremely careful to NOT give any protein in my salad. It was full of leaves and other stuff, but maybe just one or two pieces of protein in the entire salad.
I felt cheated and dissatisfied, and am never going back there. They should rename their salads from Chicken whatever salad to baby spinach salad with a hint of chicken.

$10.90 for a chicken and avocado salad which consisted of 98% green, three small pieces of avocado and four pieces of chicken and that was after I complained and she put more chicken on! Then she had the audacity to roll her eyes when taking my money!

The $12.50 bowl of 3 serves is barely enough for one person and overly priced. Otherwise the variety of selections is good and tasty.

I have tried for the first time at Adelaide airport and the meals were really delicious but When i tried the one at CBD of Adelaide it was tasted awful I am not going to eat the meal that i have ordered falafel as it taste really bad not even cooked well or have some flavours to make it taste.

My favourite place for lunch. I keep buying same thing every time (Marinated beef+Chicken avocado). Delicious.

Come here for a quick drink stop. Ordered iced coffee and a chocolate crusher. Chocolate crusher quality was okay, iced coffee had too much ice and was too foamy. However customer service was very nice. Hope these suggestions help!

I absolutely love this place. I come to the city 1-2 times a week for groceries and appointments and this place always makes me so happy. The food is 10/10. The prices are satisfactory. The staff are super nice. Always good here and this is my happy place.

Overall, the food was good. I enjoy their chicken schnitzel salad and tropical drinks, but dining in is iffy because you have to sit in the middle of Rundle Place. As a result, it's a less enjoyable but still tasty experience.

Best coffee in Adelaide in my opinion.
Breakfast rolls are delicious.
Fast and reliable service every time.
