Soul Growers Wines reviews
19Such a great wine tasting and a thorough and entertaining experience imparting the obvious love, knowledge and dedication to the craft, Sorrel was an amazing host, we for sure will be back
Excellent wines and no better personalized tasting experience we have ever enjoyed. The gents are as generous with their time and knowledge as they are with the value of the wine club!
Our host was super professional bringing the Soul Growers story and history to life. During the tour the passion for the craft shone through stories & a selection of deliciously crafted wines. In fact, we loved them all so much that we signed up as members on the spot - there really wasn't a single wine we didn't enjoy!
Soul Growers Winery is truly a hidden boutique gem, and I can't wait to come back and try even more of fantastic offerings but will enjoy the delivery until then. A truly memorable experience & highlight of our Barossa stay.
The best tasting experience I’ve been to in the Barossa! Such a beautiful intimate experience, felt very special. Great wine, great atmosphere and even better people! A must visit:)
If you are going to the Barossa then this winery has to be the first on your list! Prepare for some fun, laughter, incredible knowledge of wine and wine making, and a high quality tasting!
Stu is the ring leader, a Baron of the Barossa, Sorrel will likely be your host and what a host she is, Paul seems to be the only one that works in the winery apart from Florien, Tom makes sure your glass is always topped up and your orders fly uninterrupted to your home, and Ben just stands around and looks good.
Definitely a must-visit cellar door!
The best wine tasting I have been to. Sorell was very informative and entertaining. Will recommend to friends
Great experience not only in relation to the wines and the wine making but the way Stuart provided a fantastic overview of the history of South Australia and the Barossa. We had an awesome time
Start your Barossa Valley wine experience here! Stuart is a great wealth of knowledge and happy to share it. You’ll walk away with so much history and geological facts, you’ll feel just like a local! Stu is incredibly friendly and I would 100% recommend a visit here; if you’re new to the Barossa. Whilst they don’t have a cellar door, a walk through their (massive) wine shed will be an incredible hands-on experience you’re unlikely to find in other Barossa wineries.
1st cab off the rank was Soul Growers Wines and what a pleasure it was. One of the owners, Tom took time out from the busiest time of the year to show us around the winery and patiently explain the techniques they employ to make their wines, great insights into the subtleties involved.
We enjoyed a great tasting selection and were blown away by the quality, just had to buy a few … now to find space to store them or maybe just enjoy them now
Thanks Tom & Stu for sharing your time … easily and absolutely
Small winery with lovely wine tasting. He gave us a tour and told us interesting facts about winemaking. Well worth a try:)
Great wine from a super winery in the Barossa Valley. We called up to make sure we could visit and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and made our visit really nice.
We highly recommend a visit if you are in the Barossa Valley or try some of their great range of wines by the bottle, we've now had a bottle of each of their red and white wines they produce, we love all their wines from the big - well know local varieties right down to some of the lesser know grape varieties. We love them all.
Bravo Tom and the team at Soul Growers.

Stopped by the winery this morning, incorrectly thinking that the guys had opened a cellar door.
We very fortunately ran into Stuie though. Who gave us the most amazing wine tasting of all the fantastic wines that these chaps produce.
You can do a tasting at their winery by appointment. And I strongly recommend that you do.
The owners of Soul Growers make some incredible wines. And their Cab Sav (Cellar Dweller) is one of the most incredible wines that I have encountered in the Barossa.
Give their wines a try. You will not regret it.
Had a fantastic tasting here with over of the wine makers. I love wine but am definitely no expert so loved the informative yet laid back vibe. Didn't hurt that I really enjoyed a few of their wines too! We were part of a small tour otherwise I think tastings are by appointment. Well worth the visit.
Top notch wines, we ended up at the location without an appointment and Stu the winemaker opened up for us, we had a great tasting session and interesting conversation from Stu and learning about the wines. A fabulous experience.
Great wine and extremely informative group of people that run it - highly recommended, call and book in advance.
We enjoyed our visit and great introduction to the Barossa Vine industry.
Thank you Tom for your time and knowledge. I would highly recommend a visit to Soul Growers.
Just had a bottle of 2016 Soul Growers Cellar Dwellers. Fabulous drop has me wanting more. Do yourself a favour and get a bottle!
Never been to the winery itself but tried their wine on a wine festival and have to say it's gorgeous!
Thanks for the informative wine tasting Tom. We love the GSM red! Really appreciated wrapping the wines for travel too!
