Soonta Kurralta Park reviews
35Delicious as always. I usually have a pork rice bowl for lunch at this point, today I tried the noodles, it was also delicious, the staff was warm and kind, always quick to serve my food, it was great here, making healthy food delicious will be back again.
Food is good.
But they forgot my order and made me wait 45 mins for two noodles bowls then told me that they ran out and forgot my order. Terrible customer service!
The worst bahn mi I've had in Adelaide. Bread was under baked, spongy, and almost soggy. Meat was poorly cooked and tasted almost like tuna. So many other places around Adelaide with fantastic bahn mi. Won't be coming back.
I love the Roast Pork and the lemongrass Rice Bowl here, it's delicious with extra avocado and roasted sesame. The food is so fresh and delicious, healthy and low fat is very suitable for me. The staff are friendly and kind.
Been going here a while now but the quality of product and service has reduced. Its ok when you get the owner who fill the bowl you get your money worth the owner fill up the bowl to the top. If you get your order filled by the younger asian staff who is always there underfill your bowl meal and were filled just halfway which i saw when i got home. You pay for $14.50 for a rice bowl meal you expect to have a full bowl not halfway. I couldn't be bother to go back and complain. This a younger female staff that is mostly there underfill your rice bowl meal and gives you grumpy look if you ask for paper bag for your takeaway order. Have to try a different locaton.
Came here for rice bowl, apparently almost everything is sold out. Ordered whats left and after they served the items not even 5 mins when we started eating they told us they are already closing so we need to leave. I would understand if they told us upon ordering that they are closing very soon so that we should have not ordered or maybe atleast we already know that we'll do a take away️ or order somewhere else.we came with 2 grocery carts and 1 stroller and we already sat down its very obvious we want to dine in though. Not happy with the service. You can do better to serve your customers.
Ordered a bun bowl with roast port and 90% of it is just fat. I paid extra money for fat not to eat. I do understand you get fat on roast port but not the majority of it. Properly buying cheap meat for this. Not very impressed.
Food poisoned. Sticky and filthy tables and chairs, terribly slow and disorganised service. They should not be serving food.
Omg! The bun was overloaded with carrots and just piece of cucumber and little coriander. Worst Soonta serving i’ve had been. Not worth the price.
Asked for chilli & coriander on my roll, could see one piece of coriander and could barely taste the chilli, very overloaded with carrot. Give it a miss
I'm a fan of the Soonta franchise, but not the Kurralta Park branch, having been consistently disappointed. They have always 'just run out of pork' and are generally very stingy with their ingredients: 'extra meat' at Kurralta Park equates to a standard serve at other outlets. They also set their own peculiar hours and are often inexplicably 'closed'. I still eat Soonta, but avoid this branch. Not recommended.
Have been coming approx once a week for the last few months for a chicken bun bowl and am consistently impressed. The portions are very generous and reasonably priced, always well staffed with friendly service and never out of stock.
A nice clean shop, lots of customers, so good turn over of food. Efficient service and Banh Mi is highly recommended. Worth a visit
This Soonta used to be great and I’m not sure if it’s been taken over by someone else but for the last couple of months it has been terrible. The meat portions are mean and for something that is essentially rice for $13.90 you would expect more - however when asked I was curtly told “you got the standard amount! ” I have been coming here once a week for a few years but won’t be back.
This review is only for the kurralta park store. I love Soonta and have been visiting them for years now. I have had multiple incidents with this particular store where they do not serve you properly. Customer service is pathetic, it seems people who work serve you as if they are doing a favour to you, quantity of meat and vegetables is very less. I have overlooked this many times but this has to stop. Not even once I have faced this issue with the Henley beach road outlet or the outlet in Marion.
Good food but the service is terrible, she doesn’t want customers I guess
Ps I wasn’t meant she was using her phone, her service was terrible when we ordering food. Like we owe her million dollars
Great food and excellent service in this place. I ordered wrong food by my mistake, but they are too friendly to help me correct it without any issues, always have smile face on them, we felt love at here.
Fine Dining experience on a budget
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in KP. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in KP.
The cashier staff (a guy with golden hair) provide a very horrible and impolite service, his bad manner is telling all the customer that he doesn't like his job even I just order a soupy noodle take away at 2pm which is a non peak hour
It makes me feel really bad THAT IS WHY I WONT GO AGAIN AND NON RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO. BTW
U can go if u can accept the manner that keeps insulting you and u are hungry enough
Sub par Vietnamese food for the price. Profit comes before authenticity here.
Observable poor food handling-I've remonstrated staff members here previously for pre food handling ie touching mobile phones and eating their lunch and not washing hands prior to handling food. Reporting that instance to Soonta management received lacklustre response and no follow up.
Staff communication is poor. Ordered a bowl of pho yesterday (was very average compared to a Vietnamese owned place) and was told by staff that "govt regulations" prevented them from giving me a spoon suitable for actually eating it and was given a wooden spoon with a capacity smaller than a teaspoon. It was only when I questioned this further (ie called b.s.) was i begrudgingly given a disposable Vietnamese style plastic spoon to eat my meal with. I'm done with Soonta. They're imposters in the Vietnamese food game.
