Skin Cancer Clinic Salisbury - Adelaide

Cannot recommend after an awful experience of a family member. If you are a rural patient, ensure you have clarification and confirmation of your procedure, or you may risk a pointless journey. However another family member indicated that Dr Vu provided a good service.

I was very happy with the procedure that I had, it was very professional & happy with the procedure & follow up appointment.

Was very unprofessional overall. Receptionist was nice but answered the phone in the middle of checking me in and I had to stand there for a couple minutes, would’ve expected them to put the person on hold for a minute.
Had to wait 20-30 minutes after my appointment time after getting a call to come in earlier because they’d had cancellations and were running ahead. Felt uncomfortable during the procedure, the doctor made comments about my acne and it was not a good experience overall. One of the other staff walked in while I was getting the exam done and just in underwear, and the person doing the exam lifted up my underwear to check for freckles. Felt very violated and I’ll never go back here, didn’t even ask if it was okay. Would give it no stars if I could.

Dr was very unprofessional, I felt like I was an inconvenience. He checked my skin and left the room. I returned to admin and was asked if a follow up was required. The receptionists had to go and find the Dr to be told no I will see her in 12 months……. No you won’t!

Dr Van Vu is nice, and professional once a problem was found very quickly solved. Administration staff very friendly. Thanks guys

Two weeks ago Dr Van Vu diagnosed a BCC on my nose very close to my eye and in a difficult position. It required skin flap surgery and I have to admit I was quite concerned about scarring. One week after the surgery, performed in the clinc, I had the stitches removed and I am extremely happy with the excellent job Dr Van Vu did. He is an excellent doctor and I recommend him to everyone.

Been coming here a few years now and they are very thorough. Would happily recommend them but they are always running late even if you are the first appointment of the day. Quite often more than half an hour late.

Never been back there since the doctor that was doing my skin check said, 'What is your BMI'? I left feeling so upset. Very rude.

Excellent care and very skilled physicians. Much better experience there than at other practices I have tried in Adelaide.

Always very thorough with Dr M Lee.

My complaint would be:
Contact/buiness should be made easier and an answering service put in place, if needing to cancell appt.

I went to website, to email a cancellation, and nothing was available.
Also text reminders/confirmation would be a VERY good idea

Very thorough every time I go as I have a lot of moles I trust this doctor ALOT. Receptionist staff are alway polite and very nice and help in anyway they can.

I came here because I had a few moles I wanted checked out, and found the staff courteous and professional. The doctor spent ample time and clearly specified what the situation was with each area of concern, and also indicated other areas I should keep an eye on. The clinic and doctor seem up to date in both medical/technical knowledge and equipment.

Reception ladies excellent. When asked to strip down to underwear, door left ajar.whilst supposed full body checkover (only checked 3 moles) didnt look at legs head arms etc receptionist came in half way through consult. Very unproffessional. Then on my way to reception door left open for me to see an elderly gentleman being worked on in underwear, so door left open again. Really people some privacy for people and more proffessional work. If i pay for a FULL BODY CHECK I WANT A FULL BODY CHECK, I am covered in Moles and would like them all to be checked. I will never return to this place and will advise anyone NOT GO THERE
