All team at silk are very friendly, I have been seeing Shannon for my treatments, she is amazing at her job and such a kind person, I do not trust anyone else to do my laser and skin, highly recommend!

Could not recommend SILK Laser Clinics at West Lakes more! For the sessions i have had so far on my full body and face, they have made me feel comfortable throughout my whole appointment, and have provided a professional service. The staff are extremely friendly, and I have noticed amazing results after only a few sessions. I am so happy to have chosen SILK West Lakes for my laser journey!

I recently had dermaplaning treatment with Amy, she was amazing, made me feel so relaxed and provided excellent advice about my skincare regime.

A friend recommended I see Amy to get acne scarring treated that I had left from a stressful time in my life. My skin is looking amazing! I can’t thank her enough.

BEWARE Silk West Lakes will take your money for services, offer you a different service for half the price, then when you ask about it, they will give you TERRIBLE customer service and refuse to refund you the money (it felt surreal the discussion that I had with the person who gave me my treatment). Then when you raise it with them, they will gaslight you, and try to tell you it was your fault. DO NOT PREPAY FOR SERVICES.

Faye from West Lake did a great job with injectables, great communication & really listened to what I needed. She also made the experience as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend

Finally I found a great place for laser and Botox. Celine at westlakes is my go to, she’s so sweet and always does the best job of my laser, she’s very thorough every single time and makes you feel super comfortable.

My experience was great and have not looked back after finishing something another place started but closed down. Alana was very professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

Alana is amazing. So thorough, very informative and super friendly. I highly recommend. The laser treatment has been so successful and I'll be back for sure for some more skin treatments.

Excellent experience dealing with Silk at West Lakes. Alana is always so easy to deal with, and my skin looked better than ever after a treatment with her. Alyssa is the best injector I have ever come across! Will continue to come here over and over again.

I would highly recommend SILK laser as a service and still would as a whole business. However SILK at West Lakes has lost my service and will be going to other clinics. I am highly disappointed as I have had a number of cancellations over the last 3-4 months and although the manager has been very apologetic and attempted to accommodate rescheduling and adding services to my account to compensate for the inconvenience of rocking up to an appointment that had been deleted out of the system. Which I am truly grateful for - however she booked me in to ensure I would get my treatments in a couple of weeks to get a phone call today that they cancelled my appointment and can only get me in during the middle of the day towards the end of the week because after 4pm they book out quickly. This has been another inconvenience as I had this booked in specifically this week for an event coming up as well as being the only day I could leave work a little early. I am really disappointed in the service -
I won’t be returning to West Lakes SILK.

I don’t normally post reviews but Nurse Alyssa was amazing! Really happy with the results and glad I went to see Alyssa. All the staff are great, really friendly and welcoming. Would recommend!

Weeks after my initial response from Silk Laser WL to the review I left below for alot of money for very little service. I haven't heard anything further in response to the follow up, guessing this is just a generic response. It's very disappointing

Very Disappointed with service that I received. Attended clinic for laser treatment on 3 different areas and the whole service was completed in approximately less than 20 Seconds with minimal attention to specific areas. Charged full price for very little service. I have attended other silk laser clinics without complaints until now

Love the team at Silk West Lakes! I have my regular epidermal levelling & cosmetic injections. I am always treated so well, given the best advice for my skin & leave feeling amazing. Highly recommend.

I do not recommend Silk Laser Clinic West Lakes. Here is my experience with them & another clinic to compare. I have redness on my chin, nose & forehead so had a consultation with 2 clinics to ask about laser therapy.
SILK LASER CLINIC - My ‘consultation’ was with a beauty therapist. She didn’t examine my skin at all. Just sat me on the bed & chatted about my redness. She didn’t recommend laser, but skin needling with a pen type instrument. She said I’d need 6-8 treatments at a cost of $150 per treatment which was currently half price (usually $300 per treatment) so I had to pay in full in advance to get that price. So total cost IN ADVANCE was $900 - $1,200. I decided to get a second opinion

ADELAIDE PLASTIC SURGERY North Tce. My consultation was with a fully qualified plastic surgery NURSE. She examined my face under a light & explained exactly what the redness was in language I understood & recommended laser treatment. She said I’ll only need one or two treatments at $160 per treatment. She Suggested I have one treatment & see how I feel about the result as most people are happy enough after one treatment.

At $160 & only one treatment at Adelaide Plastic Surgery compared to $900 & 6 treatments at Silk, I’ll leave it there for the reader to decide who I chose to go with

I honestly never leave reviews but I've such horrible experiences over and over again at this location. I normally get laser at a different company but due to changing jobs I decided to go to silk west lakes as its much more easier for me to get to. I have gotten laser done at silk west lakes for the past year and it seems every time I go in I have another bad experience. The first time I went they asked me about any "medicine or procedures" I had done recently. I told them I had gotten Botox at a different clinic a week ago and was unsure if I could get laser. The rest of the appt was spent by the tech lecturing me about using their Botox nurse instead as "she's the best in Adelaide" and had made me super uncomfortable about my own personal decisions and made it really awkward within my next visits as I hoped to never get the same laser tech again. (regardless I still go to the same Botox clinic now and I LOVE my results). My next bad experience was when I was getting my bikini lasered on a separate occasion the technician had used her finger to slip inside of me and spread me apart.it made me so uncomfortable (I had gotten laser done at a separate clinic before this and had never had this happen). My third bad experience was when I had about 8 sessions and I still had some hair left. I explained I'm of ethnic decent and have hormonal hair (something I was diagnosed with) and I'll most likely have hair for the rest of my life, I only get laser to alleviate it. The technician was quite rude to me and told me that couldn't be the case and I need to purchase their skincare routine so my body hair wouldn't come back.my FOURTH bad experience was when I got told off for shaving the day before (like recommended) because they couldn't see my hair growth and then my appointment after I got told off cause I didn't shave the day before like I'm supposed to:) and finally my last bad experience was when I walked in and the technician kept asking me if I had fake tan on (I never tan or fake tan as a personal preference) and told her as such and showered the night before.without any explanation she grabs an alcoholic wipe and wipes me down and said I had "residue" come off my skin appearing like fake tan and couldn't laser me and the next available appointment for me would be in 3 weeks time. I left the place in tears. I've now booked in with a different location (which is out of my way) to use the rest of my remaining credits and who knows if I ever will return to silk laser clinics as honestly the only good thing about it is its convenient. Some of the staff at this location are nice as I had maybe one or two technicians be really helpful with me but the rest made me feel judged and unwelcome most visits. I want to know WHY its not common practice to swab everyone down before laser if "residue" is such a health concern due to burning skin? I'm more irritated that out of over 10 visits this was the first time this happened to me and that the only explanation they could give was "maybe I'm using a new body wash". VERY disappointed, it seems like NO one here is on the same page with health and safety concerns OR overall knowledge of their procedures and guidelines.and will probably go back to my old laser clinic that's expensive but at least worth it.

Edit: I want back for another review with the owner who seen the same issues I presented to my injector and the owner said that the injector had missed the tail part of my muscles hence why I could still frown. She then put 2 injections into those sites and I still can completely frown. I rang today and the owner advised she had topped up my botox and couldn't
Help any further and I had to wait 3 months for a review. My botox shouldn't have been "topped up" or treated as if it was doing me a favour when the area was completely missed in my first appointment. I've had it done before and it takes more than a top up to fix a MISSED area it should have been completely treated again since it was done incorrect in the first place. Working on people's face muscles you would think the staff would know what they are doing. Luckily I didn't end up with a droopy eyelid. Shocking customer service and many other companies who charge less and are way more friendly and actually explain the process and give pre and post after care advice which is something I was never given. Happy to take my money and act as if I've been done a favour by trying to fix the mistakes made on my face.
The reception staff are always talking and I've been on hold with them as walking into the shop only to see 3 of them laughing and having personal conversations. Disgusting service unprofessional and obviously half the staff haven't been trained if they miss the most important area of the treatment.

I had botox anti wrinkle injections 6 weeks ago in 2 areas which I still have complete movement in and zero results. I went back for a review and was told that I have no movement at all and it will take a bit longer to see results. A second opinion from a different company could not even tell I had any treatment done at all.

My daughter and I have had an amazing experience with Alana from your West Lakes clinic. I have had previous and extensive laser treatments over the years at Silk and have had absolutely amazing long lasting results. It was a no brainer that I was going to book my teenage daughter in with skin treatments to treat problem skin areas. After speaking with Alana she put my mind at ease that she was in good hands! She is thoroughly knowledgeable, her bed side manner is caring but yet always professional. Most importantly my daughter felt comfortable and we are absolutely blown away by the results! We believe she has taken her through the correct treatment program and is also an amazing up seller! The products my daughter uses, I too can use which makes it so more cost effective! I constantly tell people about how impressed I am with Silk laser and not only Alana but have always had great service from all the team. Well done Silk laser you are certainly one of the best!
