Sicily Mare Pizzeria reviews
43We had the most beautiful dinner with great food, vibe and atmosphere. Staff were amazing also!
Got told it was home made gluten free base, but it wasn't and still got charged for it. Ordered the Caponata, had to send back as it was all tomatoe sauce and no vegetables. The tomato salad should of had fresh basil as it stated in the menu and came out with pesto instead.
Hands down favourite place! Had the prosciutto pizza which was amazing! The staff were all so friendly and gave an amazing service.
Had the Chocolate Pistachio Gelato & the Strawberry Gelato - hands down best Gelato ever!
10/10 recommend!
Delicious pizza. Crispy base with lots of toppings. All ingredients fresh and flavourful. Staff all very friendly and great service
Firstly not a busy night, but plenty of dirty tables to choose one to sit at.
Entree & mains came out at once, arranchini was bland & had very minimal flavour. Young waitress was to busy fussing over music on the tablet rather than interacting with customers, rude & hostile while paying the overpriced bill.
Personally it was a let down & wont be back nor recommend, there's a better Italian joint up the road which hands down knows about flavour & fantastic service go there instead!
Also your bathroom facilities are an absolute disgrace!
The icecream was the best i’ve ever tried down south, absolutely amazing along with thier stromboli and all the pizzas they have to offer. My vego friend also loves this place as much as i do. A rare 10/10 for the peninsula
Just a perfect pizza! The crust is to die for…toppings are excellent quality. Service was great! What a great Mother’s Day meal with my family. Thank you!
Authentic Sicilian woodfire pizza, lived up to the menu. It's great when these type of places do not skimp out on ingredients as some do. Love how their doe is rested for 72hrs enhancing the pizza flavour. Great pizzas, great toppings and a great Mojito by friendly and welcomjng staff.
Delicious real Italian pizza! Can only recommend. I had it takeaway even though the restaurant seems very cosy.
Wonderful little spot for a casual lunch, the pizza quattro formaggi is the best! The only downside was that it isn't family-friendly for people with babies - no baby change tables
Terrific authentic wood fired pizzas.
We tried most of them on a family holiday over a few nights.
And the lasagne was almost as good as mamma’s!
Sicily Mare wood oven Pizza is the best. My families favourite is the Prosciutto pizza. Fast service. Friendly Staff. We highly rate this pizza shop.
Great food, service was pretty good.
Need a translator to be able to read the menu but also loved the authentic Italian vibe.
Need a fly trap of some sort haha.
It was a hot day and there was no aircon or fans. I found it a little strange that one of the workers didn’t wear shoes.
The pizza was ok. I liked the gelato and the service was average. I’ll probably come back for the gelato but that’s about it.unfortunately.
One of my favourite pizza places in Adelaide, hands down. Traditional Sicilian pizzas with the best topping options. Try the 4 cheese and add mushrooms. Also ask for chilli oil if you like it hot!
Great Italian wines and beers available, but also local beer as well!
Staff are always friendly and happy to help. Also very quick turnaround for food! With the ocean across the road, it really feels like a slice of Sicily in Adelaide's southern 'burbs.
Absolutely Brilliant, great food and service.
Very authentic and traditional Sicilian cuisine.
We had a beautiful three-course meal at Sicily Mare Pizzeria. Everything was fantastic. You could tell that every dish used fresh, quality ingredients. Here is a photo of the vegan pizza.
Tonight was the best I have had from here, generous topping and as always tasty! Well done to the pizza chef and all staff. So glad to have a proper pizza locally other than pizza teca
I thought about leaving a review or not, however ordered 2 pizzas takeaway on Friday night, total was $53, one of them was a simple Margherita with olives. The $30 pizza was scarcely topped with some sausage and mushroom, which I know is custom to this style of pizza, but is just disappointing and feels taking a little bit of a lend of the customer. The overall flavour and and base of the pizza is great, and is the closet in the area where we can get the Naples style pizza, however would find it really hard to justify returning sadly
