One of my worst massage ever. Clearly the therapist wasn't trained enough to work. I paid $85 and get her to rub my WHOLE body with her forearm only. No technique at all! No strength! Not a real Thai massage! Not enjoyable and very disappointed! Never go back! Would not recommend to anyone!

This is the best authentic Thai massage I have experienced outside of Thailand, unlike other places that claim to be the "best in Adelaide “. The treatment started with the foot bath, then full body massage with oil and stretching. My body felt new again. Definfetly recommend this place.

Nice and friendly staff. Most importantly a very nice massage. The loyal package was the best as you get to go in the spa bath with almond milk after to finish off your session. I would highly recommend for anyone that wants to treat themselves. Oh and not to forget, The fruit Tea is amazing for after treatment! Keep up the good work Siam retreat.

Been to this place a few times and used to like their massage but went in today and it was very disappointing. I told the lady the pressure was too hard and it went from too hard to too soft. She’s very harsh and felt like she’s rushing. Does not feel like a massage but more like rubbing me with tiger balm? One of the worse massage experience.

I booked and paid for a one hour classic massage and only got 47 minutes of massage. The massage itself was a 6/10.

Not very friendly she was in a rush and I didn't reply feel like I had the deluxe that my children paid for not happy at all

Professional, friendly, GREAT massages! I always find it difficult it find somewhere that I actually ‘switch off’ at during a massage but this was AMAZING! Gets every sore spot. You come out feeling so relaxed. 10/10

In 2013 i travelled to Vietnam and experienced the best massage I've ever had at a resort there. It happened to be a Thai massage, so when i got back to Adelaide i tried to find somewhere that would offer a similar experience. After trying a few places in the city and leaving a bit disappointed, i discovered Siam Retreat in Norwood. To begin with, the atmosphere is really on point, everything from the fitout of the premise to the tidyiness, the calming smell of massage oil and the polite staff makes you feel relaxed from the moment you walk in. The staff are all Thai which is important for me to get a traditional Thai massage, communication may sometimes not be ideal but it's too be expected when English is their second language, usually the receptionist has the best communication so any instructions you have are best discussed before you begin the massage, like firmness preferences. The massage experience does vary depending on which staff member you get, however I've generally found it to be very high quality. There can sometimes be 4 different staff working and it varies day to day so if you find someone you like, make sure you get their name so you can request to get your next message with the same person. They used to do a foot bath before the massage but that's become less common, it doesn't really bother me either way because I'm mainly here for the massage anyway. I like firm to hard massages so I really like it when their knees or feet are used to loosen and crack my back. If you're looking for a soft massage or you don't like being stretched then Thai massage might not be to your liking, however you can request a soft massage and I'm sure they would accommodate. I've been a customer for about 6 years while also trying other Adelaide massage places but Thai massage is definitely the best for me and Siam Retreat is by far the best I've had in Adelaide. The quality has always remained high, however as i mentioned it depends on the staff you get, they vary in experience and technique so finding someone with a technique that is perfect for you might take a few visits. Also they've always ensured i get the full hour massage, even if I'm running late or they're running late. They have a clock in the room which they use to ensure you get your full time, and a dedicated receptionist answers phone calls, so there's no interruption to your massage. Overall the place is exceptional for Thai massage and the complimentary tea at the end just makes it all the more memorable.

I have always been coming to NORWOOD branch for my massage for few years now. The people are very professional, friendly, the place is cleaned and well hygiene. I’ve tried many other places but couldn’t be more happy and satisfied. Definitely recommend this place if you need a good massage.

I went to get foot massage this place wasn’t happy who ever done for me she doesn’t have and experience or she doesn’t know pressure points of feet need to more training after 20 minutes she jump on the bed start to massage my shoulders I don’t know what she did not feeling any thing to my feets
