Booked myself into Siam Retreat for my birthday. 1.5 hour long Thai Massage (oil) and 30 mins facial. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Clean, tidy, smells great and roomy. May (the lovely lady who massaged me) was caring and precise. Thank you

Came here for a Classic Thai Massage and it was really good, I can feel my body is much more relieved. They even served me a free hot tea, the experience was superb!

Excellent service. I really enjoyed the care taken and the staff was able to cater for my needs in terms of focusing on a specific sore/tight areas on my back and shoulders. The bale fruit tea is also great after the massage!

Do not recommend. Staff not well trained.
Too much oil and a very unspecified treatment. Practitioner nearly caused more issue than help with a recovering injury. Felt more tense after the session. Will not be going back.

The massage was terrible! She definitely did not know what she was doing & I am left with scratches on my neck from her sharp nails!
I have been getting thai massages regularly for over 10+ years and this was up there as one of the worst. The prices are premium, $90 for an hour (unheard of), I expect if you want to charge those prices, the masseuse must be well experienced & not a beginner going thru the motions.

I was able to get in on a sunday last minute due to the late working hours and more availability than other spas. However, it was less than the best experience. Less privacy between rooms and you can hear everything, so that takes away from the relaxing experience. You do get a traditional thai massage. Depends what experience you're wanting when you go there. Give it a go if your in a rush, but I have definitely had better.

Excellent massage by skilful pleasant staff in a beautiful authentic Thai environment. Wife and I went and had a shared room massage on Sunday. Easy to book, easy to find off rundle St. We will definitely be back.

It’s just fine not satisfactory, the lady couldn’t provide the pressure which was needed to muscles and also could not work for neck massage properly. Still have problem in my shoulders and neck. Also I paid for an hour massage but she finished in 53 minutes, 7 minutes earlier, I’m disappointed to spend $85 here. Will not recommend.

I’ve been here two times, both ok
This third time (aromatherapy full body the same as always) I was in the big room with my partner
The ladies talked each other most of the time and a few times they stopped
The lady with me basically just put a lot of oil
So gently I asked to push a little bit more and if she can spend more time on my shoulders (I booked 90 minutes)
She started push a lot without oil, it was hurting me, so I start moving and I asked 10 times to push less and she didn’t listen or replay
Until I stand up I said “it’s painful please push less”
I don’t know the name of the girl, she’s an old and short woman

I only get massages a few times a year so not really an authority on what is good or not but I really liked the one here. I had the Oriental package and felt amazing afterwoulds.

Worst massage ever! Will never go back to this place. Wasted money and time! Paid $85 for $8.50 service.
Please train your new staff properly before letting them serve your customer

I have always enjoyed going to Siam Retreat Norwood, unfortunately tonight my partner and I ran out of luck as they were fully booked, too kind of them they contacted the Rundle Street branch and booked an hour for us.

We arrived in their Rundle Street branch and was greeted nicely by the lady in the reception.

However, the service that we expected was not met by the two masseuse. They were to quick, rough and with no passion in massaging.

My partner and I can easily identify the difference from Norwood as we loved how Norwood masseuse massage smoothly and slowly.

We were very dissappointed, we did not get what we paid for.

We will definitely not come back again.

The massage was amazing and the young girl was lovely plus a received free complementary cup of tea at the end.
Unfortunately on the floor where my face was looking down on was dirty with white stuff I couldn't work out what it was so maybe they be a bit more mindful of that or at least sweep it where we don't have to look.

One of best massages in Adelaide. The place itself is hard to find & the side street may seem a bit off putting as not on the main strip, however once inside you’ll can indulge on the real retreat experience. Beautiful interior with well designed massage rooms.
