Wrong order made us wait longer was not the main issue upset us.

The Mussels we ordered disappointed us because seven of them are empty. That means more than a half bowl are Mussels shell only.

We have been told that the chef will cook us few more mussels but we need to wait another 10 minutes. We waited for more than 30 mins until we finished all the food

He even told me he did reminded the chef twice to cook us a new one. However I didn't even see him step in the kitchen at all. After that he said he asked the chef again that need another 10 mins wait.

Finally we waited for 30 mins and go to pay the bill. I told that waiter we have not get the mussel replace and he was like oh really? And said sorry.

That was not honest if he was not really feel sorry but pretend he was helping to solve the issue.

Shared the 1kg pot of mussels Spanish style and they were delicious, so fresh! Paired with bread and chips was a good lunch for 2 of us. 30min wait for food (was told to us by the servers straight up, but that was ok as it made time for a drink beforehand!) is pretty busy and can get rather hot/steamy and noisy in the markets (but that’s all part of the market atmosphere!) but a great stop in spot for some delicious seafood! Eager to come back during oyster season to try their well reviewed oysters….

Had a great meal there recently while back in Australia for a visit - but do have to acknowledge the SUPERB service we received from a young guy named Dylan.

A great spot to have on anyone’s list for those who live in or visit Adelaide.

Discovered this little gem on our trip to the Central Market. Great food and cocktails. Music drowning out the noise from the market but not too loud. Staff attentive
We will be back!

Adelaide and Victoria Square Markets has always been my must see on a visit to be with family- Today with my sister we stumbled across Si Sea Wine Bar and Tapas Eatery and SO glad we did. Wonderful house wines on sale and the food flame cooked in front of us was delicious. We had the Prawn and Chorizo Tapas with sourdough toast and it was truly amazing so we went again. Si Sea give it a go

Lunch specials are entree size and overpriced. The Octopus dish was tasteless and chewy. Service was slow my wife finished her meal before mine arrived.

Stopped over to have a beer initially and ended up having great food and wines. Nice gesture from Mark who brought out an impromptu cupcake with a candle to celebrate my friend’s 80th. A pleasant surprise. Thanks, Mark

We have stopped for a drink at this lovely place on many occasions. Decided to have dinner there last night. It was so disappointing. Cold mussels with half the shells empty. Sizzling garlic prawns that were not sizzling were ok but $20 for 4 prawns was a bit over the top. Service was outstanding. I’d go back for a drink but skip the food.

A little slice of Spain in this unique food stall. Sit at the bar to watch your food being prepared or there's some separate tables (not recommended in winter). Best to book or be prepared to wait 30+ minutes. My wife love the mussels and fish here. I have the steak sliders which appear small but fill you up. Their hot chips are very good. Nice wine srlectikn too. Good service. Been coming to the markets for Friday dinner for 20+ years and this is our current favourite. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our lunch here.
The Prawn tempura was delicious. The edamame with garlic was so good. We also got the Thai mussels which has a great blend of coconut and medium spice.
We recommend this place.

I had the mussels, Thai style. The sauce smooth and creamy with a mild spiciness. It sometimes with toasted ciabatta and a serve of chips. Absolutely superb. Added a glass of Brown Brothers moscato. I can highly recommend a shop here, especially for the light price.

A good way to wrap up your shopping at the Central Market with amazing sea food, wine and a great atmosphere.

I had the worst experience ever while my friends and I had food with wine. We visited SiSea this afternoon.
I just saw the amount of wine in my glass was noticeably less than others, and I asked the staff who served it because I wondered if the wine's amount was different on the type of wine. However, he said that my glass is the normal amount and the other glasses are the last of each bottle, so they got some more. I simply understood, but he poured some more into my glass anyway and told me "YOU DON'T COME BACK NEXT TIME".
When I heard that, I thought he tried a joke; but seriously he repeated them several times like: "Please don't come back. " "Next time, only you two girls (pointed at my friends) can come, but not you" "Don't give her the food, just you girls enjoy them" blah blah. Finally, I was getting totally upset. Maybe he didn't like my inquiry, but I never experienced this situation in any restaurants or shops in Australia, and it was very very rude and feel bad.
I didn't want to ruin our day, so I just left the place without complaining about anything.but I felt so bad; I even asked my friend to go to the counter instead of me, and after the payment, as expected, he shouted "DON'T COME BACK" loudly on my back.
Whatever, I gave them two stars because the foods were okay, but as I respect the staff's wish, I WILL NEVER COME BACK. Hopefully, other people do not have this ridiculous experience in the place again.

We stopped by for a quick breakfast before leaving on a winery tour. Our coffees were delightful. The omelets were perfectly done and very filling.

Fresh seafood with nice ambiance and friendly staff. I ordered garlic prawns with ciabatta bread; I would normally avoid ordering prawns because of the fishy taste, but the prawns here are super fresh and juicy. I totally recommend Si Sea!

Recommended place to eat in the Central Market. The food came out very quickly with good service. The food itself was delicious which fits with the vibe of the Central Market, especially on a Friday night. The only minor criticism was that the oysters were on the smaller side but they were yummy nonetheless.

I really wanted to like this spot as it's reminiscent of the beloved tapas bars throughout Spanish markets and as a unique, new addition to the Central Market food scene I frequent. Unfortunately, amongst our group, we all agreed that our meals weren't up to par with our expectations. The seafood soup was far too acidic and missing the key balance heavily needed in tomato-based sauces which establishments often get wrong. The portion sizes are already quite scarce, but the quantity of unopened (and inedible) mussels and pippis were overall a huge let down. It's disappointing as the space and atmosphere alone are very warm and inviting - I might pop back for drinks but certainly not for food.

Always a great time at Si Sea.

Great menu boasting with fresh, local SA produce. Also an awesome wine list to go with the food. Staff is exceptional.

Love the fit-out and concept!

Oysters were fresh and tasty. Looks like a cute little pop up restaurant in the central market. Sitting along the bench you can watch the chefs cook the food.

My partner and I went for a Friday night dinner, but only ended up staying for starters. We ordered oysters and the Spanish style mussels but the oysters arrived within two minutes of ordering but our drinks not for another 15 minutes later.

When the mussels arrived, the sauce was amazing but 9 of them hadn't opened so we asked the waiter if they were suitable to eat or not. The waiter took them back and the chef "reheated" (to quote direct from the waiter) the sauce to open the rest which took another 15 minutes. No apology or anything which was a shame as the food overall was lovely, but we walked away feeling a bit disheartened.
