Really enjoyed our visit! Located on a quaint main road with lots of other places to check out.

A great range of beers (as expected) and they distill their own gin too. Nice beer garden and friendly staff.

Bagging customers whilst drinking on the job and eye rolling when we want to order. Tables dirty, full of empty cups and rubbish. The garbage bins outside smell and it drifts and I don’t think it’s appropriate to give middle fingers behind customers backs when they’re walking off

Absolutely loved it. The food was the best we’ve had in ages: wings were lip-smackingly good, sweet potato fries crisp, hot and salty, and loaded cheeseburger fries just sublime. We’ll be back for more. And of course the BEER! No photos because we ate it all Thanks Shifty Lizard

One of our favourite tap houses. Great beer, and always amazing, friendly service. Doggo friendly inside as well, which is a bonus. Definitely book if visiting during busy times, as space is limited.

Brilliant lil tap house - great beer and food in a great part of SA. Staff are always so welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend- definitely drop in for a beer

Visited with my partner and dog. All the staff were wonderfully helpful and were dog friendly. The beers and food was just as amazing as the service! We will be visiting again!

Our 4th visit here and most definitely our last. My wife and I made a booking for 12.30 Sunday and drove an hour to get there.
We arrived on time, sat at our named table but then had to ask for it to be cleaned as it was covered in sticky sauce and sesame seeds.
The person cleaning the table informed us that if we want food they have run out of hot dog buns, burger buns and wings at 12.30 and then walked away.
We really didn’t believe what we had just been told so went inside to enquire. It was confirmed there was only loaded fries left and that is not what we travelled an hour to eat.
At this point rather than receive an apology we were told if we wanted food we should have arrived earlier! Seriously!
The attitude of this staff member/manager was appalling. We regularly eat at breweries and have never been told it is our fault food is not available at 12.30 for lunch. There are plenty of other similar businesses in SA which we will support in the future.

We ended up having an excellent meal and beer (south coast) from the pub just down the road.

Went here for a mates birthday party, nice little brew pub, nice beers, knowledgeable staff, kind of a smaller size venue but not bad.

Great food, excellent service. Bar manager went out of her way to make everyone comfortable and welcome.

Great food, awesome service, delicious ales. Loaded fries and a brilliant burger. Beer you could drink all night.

The best service we’ve received in a while. Great variety of beers with a tasting paddle available. We coped 10 wings for $5 because it was after 5 on a Friday. Definitely make your way to Shifty Lizard Brewing.

Had a delightful beef casserole with mash from their winter warmers menu. It was bloody delicious! Service was fantastic as always.

Just average.beer is good but dont come here for the food. Basically its a choice between chips or hotdog with various "dressings" for about $20. Or chicken wings.

Crackers and Elliot were bloody amazing at the Beachside Food & Wine. Amazing service and amazing beers. I’m from the UK and I absolutely loved these guys, give them a raise.
