Sheoak Cafe reviews
45 We were all very very impressed!
Thank you to the staff who were very accomodating for us to have a brunch here with late notice for our mums birthday.
The staff at the serving till were fun, and we were all extremely impressed with not only the high quality of food that was served, but also how efficiently the food was made from the time we ordered it, to only a few moments later it been served up.
We sat out the back/side of the cafe where we had the sun on our backs.
Thank you guys!
A great place for a coffee and a cookie in the courtyard. Friendly service and atmosphere. The kids enjoyed it so much, one left a message in the sprinkles/ crumbs ;)
Have been an ongoing customer for 10+ years. Wanted to book for a birthday and emailed once and called twice to make booking and confirm. No response to any contact. Emails are free and a return phone call to confirm takes 1 minute. Have taken my several hundred dollars to another local cafe with better service and the ability to respond.
A favourite with the locals. We stopped in on the weekend for coffee and cake. Eclectic vibe.
Delightful coffee shop with healthy vegan and gluten free options. Must go back soon and try their lunch menu.
Great cakes and pleasant outdoor tables when the weather is good
Food, drinks and service were great for a Mother's Day Brunch.
I popped in for a quick coffee on a cold and wet day.
Perfect place for casual date or if you plan to take your girlfriend out for a breakfast. Beautiful surroundings with vintage style furniture and warm ambiance. Food is amazing.
The mushroom ragu flavours were very gooood! I think, however, it needs two pieces of toast instead of one; there's a lot of sauce and two eggs that need more bread to be soaked up.
The service needs some work; we've been there twice recently and both times our coffees have come after we had finished our meals. Understaffed possibly? I see the baristas taking coffee to the tables; it would help if someone else did this.
It’s just frustrating. I order a $19 sandwich and a $21 beef burger - I was asked if I’d like bacon on the burger and I said no. While eating I realised I’d been charged $42,50. When I question this I’m told it was because I had extra bacon. I pointed out I had said no to that, only to be told that it comes with bacon anyway. They then offered to put the $2.50 back on my card. I said they can keep it.
I shouldn’t have to haggle to get the correct price applied. I told them to keep the $2.50.
I have better things to do and other places to go.
Wonderful experience with delicious food, coffee and atmosphere. Staff were lovely and accomodating! Will definitely be back.
Food looked nice but very average and vertually no flavour. I had a chicken burger and my husband had a Ruben sandwich (which had far too much cheese). Coffee was good but not the food.
Great place, go almost weekly. Food is usually great, but some inconsistency in quality and quantity. When it's good it's really good. When it's not, it's average, never bad
Food and coffee good but
BASE BREKKY scramble eggs.
Plus bacon, mushroom, tomato x 2
Mug Coffee
Super berries smoothie
$75
SERIOUSLY
Homely & comforting vibes & food.
Everything I've had from here has been yummy, and the coffee is amazing.
They have good gluten free & vegetarian options, their gf bread is genuinely awesome. I recomend the grilled chicken sandwich, but their specials are also always great.
The place feels full of good heart and soul, as does the food and coffee.
The treats are great, and they have cute snacks like you used to find in corner shops and kiosks of the 90s.
Also, everyone who works there is very beautiful inside & out.
Easy 5 stars, and one of my favourite cafes.
Great coffee, came back a second time for the Reuben sandwich, partner was very happy with the EBC - bacon, egg & cheese in Turkish roll.
Food and coffee were AMAZING! Reasonably priced and quick too. Will definitely be coming here again
Haven’t been here for almost 2 years. Clearly have new management because the atmosphere has changed due to change of staff.
The young waitresses making coffee and serving were unprofessional. While they were friendly, they were chatting obnoxiously loud, and swearing and laughing. Was very distracting.
Still a lovely little cafe and good coffee, but the menu is very limited.
Hopefully staff can be a little more mindful of how they conduct themselves, I’ll go one more time and if it happens again I won’t be returning.
Waste of time. “The kitchen is a bit slow today” is not an excuse to take an hour to make a Ruben sandwich! Service was very poor with no reasons for the ridiculous delay. Anyway I didn’t wait around for my Ruben I hope you both enjoyed the sandwich for your staff break and also wasting my time. I won’t be back.
Called in to check out what's on offer, bit late in the afternoon and settled for a cappuccino and Sheoak carrot cake.
Nice atmosphere and great service
Lovely staff and cosy inside seating as well as a large outdoor seating area, dog friendly to enjoy some fresh air! Plenty of seating and a nice menu suitable for most visiting.
