Been here a few times over the years, the chips are always horrible and over cooked. Only reason i come here is when Manor farm chicken and seafood is closed

I had the yiros and it was beautiful full of meat very filling would definitely order again

$4.20 for a tub of gravy is a bit steep. I questioned if the staff member had rung up the right item. She said she did and it was high quality gravy. It may well be, but if you’re going to talk up how good your overpriced gravy is maybe make sure it’s actually hot for the customer that paid too much for it. Not even Luke warm when I got home and I only live 5 mins away. Won’t be back.

Had the family meal. Chicken, Largs chips plus two Salads. $36.90. First time my Chicken was dry and the chips were soggy. I was disappointed as this is not the normal standard. Great wasn't on so I am not sure if this was why. I will go back again hoping it was a once off. I will update then. Also, I am not sure how long this has been going on for but there was no stuffing.

Always really nice food and friendly staff. Especially one of the girls seems to very attentive and switched on.

My wife love their hot chips so much, even we live very far from their shop, my wife still ask me to buy their hot chips. They got best hot chips in Adelaide. We are definitely go back there again to buy their hot chips.

Greg and his team always friendly. Best cooked chickens and take away in SA. Their chips are amazing Always cooked fresh and all salads etc fresh and tasty. Always a busy shop, but the team won’t have you waiting too long, they have a great procedure in place and you never wait too long. Congratulations to the team.

Great food, loved my burger and Mum loved her steak sandwich. Always visit when I'm in the area and hungry. Very friendly owner

Always has been my favourite chip shop, if your one who loves the perfect hot chips then trust me, no other then select chicken.
I will refuse to eat hot chips anywhere else.

The place is always clean and the customer service is always great, they always have a smile on their face and seem proud to work for the best chip shop in Australia.

Tried Calling this Shop many times to place orders, And everytime get the we are Busy message. Have given up and moved on to a Chicken Shop that gives customer service.

Fish and chips with seafood salad absolutely delicious, a bit of a wait as it was very busy, well worth the wait.

Used to be fantastic not now food and service was average but still good just remembering the old days.

Overpriced food asked for a chicken Burger with cheese. Cheese was extra so they charged $1 for 1 slice of processed cheese! I will not be going back to that place ever!
The fact that they have to reply to justify ridiculous over charging for a slice of cheese says a lot about this business.

Awesome place, excellent customer service, great food. Try the marinated chicken steaks or the calamari you won't be disappointed

Very tasty chicken. Sometimes has sweets or salads that taste like decent home-made salads (pesto pasta salad is amazing). Almost universally friendly staff (especially Greg!)

Gregory and team; if I could give you 10 stars I would. I will never forget the kindness you showed my family. About 12 months ago my husband came into your shop to order lunch for everyone. His mum was at home dying and upon hearing this you gave him a hug. That simple human gesture meant more than you could ever know.
We have been patrons here for over a decade and it's always fantastic. Not only that, they offer gluten free options for our coeliac kids. And their chicken salt made in-house is next level.
Highly recommend Select Chickens for a great feed. But more than that; for their customer service and care.
