Sefton Plaza Foodland reviews
43Easy access to fridge and cabinets in my wheelchair. Good selection of good old- fashion meat selection eg.kidney for my homemade steak and kidney pie.
Lots of checkouts open so never have to wait long. No self serve option. Staff friendly and helpful. Some food is more expensive but they have the coffee and apricots in a jar I like, that you can’t get at Woolworths.
Nicely located in Sefton Plaza on the Main North road, with ample parking outside. SA's fresh produce, poultry and dairy can be easily found here. Their deli is also good.
Have a large variety of products and produce for a relatively small store. Excellent range of South Australian produce. Very friendly deli staff!
Rude check out lady, older woman with short dark hair. Had a long chat with the woman in front who she obviously knew. Then when she got to me was completely sour faced and didn’t acknowledge me. Won’t be back.
There is cafe, liquor, foodland, chemist, one of the best hair cutting salon 'killa Hair", cloths, target.like this place. Only thing that did not have a good experience with GR mobile repairs. But still like this shopping plaza
Covid restrictions should stay for ever, not too many in the store, wonderfully helpful staff 10/10
Vegeare fresh than other big supermarkets. Chicken tastes better than others too not sure how or why but they do. Beef is cheaper. Other day to day items, not that much. I go for chicken fish and beef only
Disappointed to be told that Conroy’s products are no longer being stocked.
Often dropped in for these and would of course pick up other items.
Please reconsider this decision.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They will get your favourite products in for you still unlike the so called big two chains. Local business that nothing seems to be too much trouble when looking after their customers.
I went shopping to foodland and opened my package of Rana tortellini and they hadn't expired and I found half moldy. I went there and showed them the expired tortellini they didn't even ask me to apologize for the incident just made the money a ridiculous thing.
The best place to shop for really helpful and friendly staff, but most importantly to me is that the frit and veg is always turned over regularly to maintain a hight standard of quality fresh food.always a great shopping experience. Keep up the good work
A great place to shop, friendly, helpful staff and what's best privately owned where the customer is valuedg
For an old supermarket it's great. Great staff, great fresh produce, nice fresh meat and NO SELF SERVE registers, thank you Foodland.
I worked here in 1984 when it was Arrow Superfoods - my how times have changed. There was a giant meat delicatessen in middle of the supermarket - it's now retreated to back of the store & is less than 1/3 the of the original size. There also was a small bottle recycling depot which was handy for coin - that's now long gone. A fat lolly section now exists at the front of the store. And shame on you for having the same 20th century freezer that was there when I was 16.
At Sefton plaza, I could see fresh veg.and fruits. Not so big can find what I need quickly and easy, also lots of personnels around to ask if I can't find what I'm looking for. Also always buy almond by kilo and dried that I toast for eating with dried sultana.
I had quite a bit off shopping at foodland there have readson good price on there food it in my price range.
This humble little foodland is one thing I miss after moving interstate. Am always surprised when I come back at the range they sell; so many more options than the bigger supermarkets! The prices are good and I feel much better giving my money to a friendly, local supermarket anyway.
Not bad, nothing special. Prices are not so competative. At least they stock long red head matches for lighting camp fires.that's awesome!
