Sefton Park Primary Health Care Services

Sadly our experience was not a good one.
My mum was taken there with pain on walking. As I lived over an hour away I arrived after her. She was on a bed no blanket she had Bare feet and was cold I asked if she could have a blanket. The nurse was very helpful yes of course they are over there and pointed. Her buzzer was on the wall she was desperate to go to the toilet.
I took her. The nurses all had their computers doing their recording etc. One nurse spent at least 10 minutes on her phone messaging when finished put it in her pocket. You sit there long enough you see everything. 5 and a half hours later we finally saw a doctor who agreed with me that mum did not have a DVT. On walking she was in agony while I was there no pain relief was offered. In the end we went home and she was no better the next day. This morning she had to call an ambulance. They wanted to send her back to you. She screamed please don’t send me back there. So she will be going to the RAH where she will be given pain relief bloods and scans will eventually be done. Whenever at the RAH we have had nothing but praise for all the staff. Before anyone thinks I just complain I’m a recently retired nurse and would have offered my patent a blanket, would have made sure her buzzer was close and made sure she had pain relief on board.

Filled with such lovely, caring people! Went to the RAH ER and one of their wonderful nurses got me organised to come here instead of waiting in hospital emergency for hours, and I couldn’t have had a better experience! Everyone was so kind and attentive toward me and all the other patients. Thank you so much for helping me out and providing such a great environment to help those in need!

They are so caring and very good at what they do. I was treated with respect and they explained everything clearly to me. They have been wonderful and very helpful in so many ways

Thoughtful, proactive and respectful amdin/reception staff (absolute necessity if you struggle with the the bureaucracy of it all).
My own opinion is some staff members have very valuable lived experience, which drastically improves the experience for people with complex issues around accessibility.

Faultless amenities, cleanliness, hygeine protocols, infection (covid) control, etc.
TV, water cooler, indoor plants, comfy loos - the works, mate.

Perhaps most importantly, my particular doctor is very passionate about the field they work in, so they maintain an incredibly deep and ever-growing knowledge base accompanied by a strong commitment to using it well. Hippocrates would be proud.
(Oof, that was a bit bloody naf)

This place is tragically unique. So many lives have been turned around, or quite literally saved from death, right there in Sefton. Mine is among them, if you hadn't guessed from my pretty glowing review.

Very impressive setup with great staff. A wonderful service, and so needed

The staff, nurses and Doctors absolutely beautiful humans. Looked after our mum so well, we are very grateful for the care of our mum.

The staff are all very friendly, and will help you in any way they can, one of the best Dr's offices ive been to 10/10
