Seed Clare Valley

Once we got over the fact that we were only allowed to have 1 menu to share between 4 (because they often were torn or dirty explained our very polite waiter!) We ordered our food in anticipation based on the numerous reviews and recommendations we had received. Our wood oven garlic bread arrived quickly, quite charred, tasteless and raw in the centre! It was whisked away and replaced with a much nicer one albeit not very flavoursome. Our pasta which was supposed to accompany our garlic bread was delivered 1 hour later! Two of which looked like they had been sitting for 30 minutes on the pass and were cold! Back they went! The other 2 pasta dishes @ over $30 each were less than ordinary. The hot 2 dishes finally returned and what was described as carbonara perfectly on the menu was nothing like the description or the real thing. Unfortunately attempts by the chef/owner to replace our meals we left hungry and ripped off! Very disappointing.

We stopped in Clare on our way home from a trip to Quorn to get some dinner. So glad that we decided on Seed, a place we hadn't been before. What a lovely restaurant. Full of atmosphere and friendly service.
The seafood wood oven pizza was delicious.
The burger was very tasty also but too small if you're feeling pretty hungry, which we were.
Would definitely go back for the great pizzas and highly recommend this restaurant.

Tried out seed today whilst visiting Clare. Can confidently say that the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Ordered 2 pizza's and a side of fries which were delicious. Will definitely be recommending to people.

Lovely rooftop BUT how many times do we need to ask about the advertised happy hour that NO staff believed existed and then to be chased down the stairs at the end of the evening to ensure we have paid as they stated we had not! Yes we had paid and the other waitress agreed we had paid! Lovely atmosphere BUT alas the service was poor

Wonderful dining experience. This is a must visit. Very helpful and friendly service. Excellent ambience with modern facilities. Great food options with extended menu options since our last visit. Plenty of vegan options if you ask. Can't wait to go back.

Good little rooftop bar overlooking the high street of Clare. A nice way to soak in the afternoon sun. Service was very good, attentive, friendly and professional. Good pizza to be had and a good selection of wines on the menu.

The pizzas were authentic and high quality ingredients. The venue was stellar and the staff very friendly. Loved the fact they have mist vent on the rooftop too.

The atmosphere and views on the rooftop are wonderful. But unfortunately, our pizza's were burnt on the base, taking over any nice flavour the pizza may have had.

Very disappointed we come a 8: 15 pm for a dinner kitchen was close. And very bad reception.

Been here a few times and food has always been divine. The service is exceptional one of my favourite places to visit when i come to south Australia.

Outstanding restaurant, great staff, delicious food, and highly recommended. We were told by the locals that we had to try this place, and despite not being very hungry when we arrived we certainly got through some delicious meals. You must eat here next time you're in the area.

Called in for a coffee & were thrilled to be served complimentary table water prior to our excellent coffees arriving. Great ambience with attentive & friendly staff. This place is now on our dining out bucket list.

Me and my partner ate in the bistro on a Saturday night. It was one of the most enjoyable meals I've experienced - the service, atmosphere and food was unbelievable. Would highly recommend letting the staff provide their recommendations for food and wine.

We went for Saturday morning breakfast, which is a separate menu than weekdays. I had asparagus, jamon, poached eggs with Hollandaise and it was the best breakfast I've ever had in my life. Hubby was less adventurous, eggs over easy, smoked salmon, ciabatta and jam. Good.

Exellent cumtomer service and phenomenal food! Their pizza is great, and other menus are also exceptional. My favourite place to eat in Clare valley. This place is worth driving 1.5 hrs from Adelaide! You must try their dry aged steak! The food price is quite reasonable for the quality of food you get.
