It has an excellent wide range of good quality stock and at very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and approachable.
On behalf of family who ate at the Seaton tonight, and have been regulars for years, they’d like to give this experience zero stars but unfortunately can only leave one.
The garlic prawns contained 9 small undercooked prawns in a watery sauce (for $26!). It was sent back as it couldn’t be trusted that it was safe to eat.the replacement Caesar salad took 45 minutes to arrive and was equally inedible. The chicken schnitzel was over cooked and the side serve of vegetables were terrible.
No offer was made to refund their money for the prawns. Terrible food and service.they will not be coming back.
The salmon was cooked well on a bed of mash potato, a few green beans and asparagus. My meal was average. Service from the staff.wonderful
We ordered a meat and seafood platter that was on the menu for 2-3 people. Turns out it can actually feed about 5 people. It was massive and delicious. We had to share the rest between the other people with us.
Not as happy with the menu these days. Miss their awesome scotch fillet we would rave about to everyone. We ordered 2 mixed grills, porterhouse, 2 chicken schnittys & a serve of fish. Fish was not nice. Mixed grill average. Porter ok. Ran out of all garlic bread before 7pm as well as the wagyu scotch special. Bring back the old chef!
Parmi was excellent and the front of house staff were great, especially when my 7 week old started crying, they came over and asked my partner if she'd like anything to help, even though they didn't have too.
Sorry to say but you need to bring back the old chef I am a local and come for dinner here every week and have loved it till now!
Normally really good but last night a little disappointing. 45 minute wait for salt and pepper squid that tasted like plain squid chicken parmigiana ok but only just warm cant fault the steak but for $73 would expect a little better

This place reminds me of my Nan. Pity she is no longer alive to see the revamp; she so would've approved
Used to have some of the best chicken schnitzels for the best price. Now they have switched out the schnitzels for crappy processed ones which I doubt are "made in house" as they claim. Price has also gone up even with the downgrade in quality. Menu states you get sauce with your order however when we requested it we were charged an extra $2. No longer worth going to.
I help frank who delivers fresh fruit and vegetables to the kitchen at the seaton hotel very friendly staff and management.if ever you are looking to buy anything call in to the shop.it is situated near woolworths in side the mail at the findon shopping center it is called get fresh.
This place used to be amazing and I attended here regularly. There was a scandal and change of ownership and they changed the menu which didn’t need to be changed which was extremely disappointing. Won’t be back
Sadly the change of ownership has left the place less attractive to attend. The food is lesser quality but the price has risen.
Same with drink prices. I wouldn't mind if the service improved but unfortunately that seems to have dropped off also. Except one young lady who sadly seemed to have disappeared
Great pub with the usual on the menu. Great little salad bar and friendly staff. Will come again
Great family pub, good menu selection and the option for Calvary night on select nights is delicious. Amazing service tonight, every one on our table agreed that the lady called Paris (we think that was her name) was extremely friendly, bubbly and had a huge smile that made the dining experience all that much better. Will definitely be going back again. (P.s there is a kid zone with video games for those with children)
