Scout Outdoor Centre / Exurbia reviews
22Great range of quality products with great Service & Advice! All supporting Scouts in SA.
Attended a special "private function" where anyone could come along. The more you spent, the bigger the discount. Picked up some much needed items. Great to support a local store formally known as Scout Outdoor
Exeptional service from the older guy, he stayed late to help me out, Great dreatly appreciated. Great gear.
Staff were great and very friendly and helpful got excalty what I was after. Will continue to shop there. The online shop is also user friendly.
I went in to get a one planet cocoon -11 sleeping bag, not only did I get it cheaper than on OPs site, they also gave me an awesome goodie bag, exurbia is my new gear store.
Also they support the scouts too which is also awesome!
Thanks heaps, would give six stars if I could! Have a great xmas exurbia crew!
Pretty frustrated, busting for the toilet as we departed from Adelaide to their new store.from the entrance, I visualise the green light and a toilet sign is visible hanging from a wall. I went to access said toilet, my bowels screaming at me; to be told that I cannot use the toilet and that the staff were unsure where I can find them. I would completely understand if there was appropriate signage to signify that they were strictly staff toilets rather than advertise them clearly and then get turned down with no knowledge where I can find them. I don’t understand the ramifications of using the toilet as we were the only people in the store. Ultimately, the inability to provide a service of necessary needs compromised the potential of sales. Also, stock wasn’t nearly as extensive as the previous store, limited climbing slings available. Disappointed.
Wonderful array of clothing, climbing gear and camping materials. Friendly, knowledgeable staff
Great place to visit for the all your outdoor activities and great friendly staff and good value, information
Amazing staff, so friendly and happy to help with anything you need. Great range of products and brands.
Staff are super stars, A+ best service, extra mile type people, thanks so much guys. Gear range and fair prices
These guys saved our trip.
We flew down from Cairns to do the Heysen Trail and with little time to buy a gas cylinder before the bus to Cape Jervis, were stressed about getting one. No gas, no hike!
I called Simon before we left Cairns and he happily organised a jetboil cylinder for me over the phone and even had someone drop it up to our hotel for us.
Fantastic service. I couldn’t thank them enough! Cheers guys.
Always a great place to go for any and all outdoor needs. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and a good range of products.
A seller wrongly accused me of theft and never apologized. It is unacceptable and completely unpleasant. My friends and I neither will ever go back!
Excellent range of camping and hiking goods including clothing and boots. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff when needed for advice. Would highly recommend. Recently bought Lowa Baldo GTX boots and appreciated all the advice when buying them.
Thank you Ben for taking your precious time to recommend me from as light as a towel to as heavy as a pair of hiking shoes:)
Excellent outdoor clothing and accessories. Top gear at reasonable price. Best place for boots, with bargains always on display.
I can't thank Simon and the rest of the team enough for helping me with a custom strapping solution to attach my helmet to my backpack. With that and the other purchases I have recently made I have found them to always be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend this place to anyone!
Just the best in Adelaide!
New merino wool thermal active wear plus light weight gortex jacket for all winter weather walking and running ️
Once again, I received outstanding service, from attentive and friendly staff, I've previously bought hiking gear same experience, different staff each time but the same friendly helpful attitude. Thankyou for your help, and whatever you're doing to hire and train your staff keep up the great work they're awesome
Best service and value for money for outdoor hiking equipment in Adelaide.
I went in to Scouts with my fiancé this week wanting to get versatile light weight hiking equipment suitable for all 4 seasons for trips up to 1 week on the trail. We had some of an idea of the things we needed, but other than that we relied solely on their expert advice. They were so patient and informative, genuinely care about the experiences you’re seeking, recommend the best possible gear for amazing prices, never try to up sell (I hate it when places do this), and give you great advice for your trip (for us this was essential as we’re heading to the Alps for the first time for a multi day hike).
I 100% recommend Scouts Outdoor Centre. I’ll be back for more gear in the summer when I need to fit out my new tent with a mesh inner and get some fresh socks! Thanks so much Juanita, Marcus and Simon!
