A pleasant change to hear freely running water. There are some benefits to having the wettest June in decades. A very nice park with good bush & scrub country with a sprinkling of human historical sites. Interesting place.

This place needs a lot of work. Overgrown trees, logs on the ground, unmaintained trails. Lift your game NP&W.

Decent place for a stroll, close to the city. There are a number of trails to choose from running through scrubland. The gradients are frequently a tad on the steep side. Good opportunities to spy animals. At the time of writing, you can see the rejuvenation occurring after fire passed through the park.

Am excellent location for hiking with great trails and surrounding nature. There are some ruins there that add character to the park. Go explore:)

Enjoyed walking around here for two hours however, some tracks are dead ends and there's no clear loop through the park. Or maybe it just depends what gate you park at.

Beautiful place to hike, see native wildlife or just sit under the old apple tree. Never have we missed seeing a koala up a tree

Great place to go and hide with the
Family for the day for free. There is everything necessary to keep the kids occupied viewing wildlife and scenery galore. We got some ripper family photos done here that we wont forget whilst we watched other people come and go quickly and not taking enough time to take it all in and enjoy life. I hope spots like this dont change because we need more of them. Once the sun goes down its time to head home and wait for the free time to add up for another visit.

Very nice scenic walk. It has been rated as easy but it is really moderate with a substantial amount of uphill and downhill sections that challenge the lower parts of your legs.

MINE IS CLOSED! If your going out there for this reason dont bother. Its good for a bushwalk or looking at the local history but its main reason for visiting is finished

This is a great area for hiking. Some of the trails can be challenging however the views, the vegetation and the wildlife are worth the effort. The drive to the area is also picturesque.

Awsome place. Beautiful landscape and some really interesting history with the old silver mine.

Secluded, peaceful and hard to reach. Finding old mines is exciting as part of South Australia's pioneer history. Not bring able to explore them is unfortunate. Signage should be updated since I do my think the mine features are there any longer.
