Fabulous wines, lovely setting, delightful family run winery!
This has been my one stop wine shop/cellar door for many years now and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Wine tasting doesn't seem to be viable at present due to covid. When it resumes, browse through tha family album and historical pics to get a better appreciation of the family's achievements since arriving in Australia roughly half a century ago!
Parking, access, pricing all commendable with assistance to the car with heavy items!
Try the "tawny" to top up the port barrel!

Hi there, we were attended by a lovely knowledgeable young lady named Eli. She treated us oldies very respectfully and walked us through our options. We walked away satisfied customers. Well done lady you made our day.customer service at its best.cheers

Went to Scapantoni yesterday. Wonderful service, wonderful team and wonderful wine. It's not the newest building going but it's still beautiful. Definitely worth a stop in if you are in McLaren Flat.

As the driver i will never take anyone there
on a tour again. They have a coffee machine
In the corner of the room and refused to make/sell
me a coffee. Apparently it is for family use only. While I was waiting for my group they were making coffee. That's an experience I don't intend to repeat.

I had delicious bowl of pasta and a glass of Scarpantoni School Block. It was lovely, thank you very much.

Went to school with those ratbags, Mike and Fil: we go back a long ways.

Even had a bingle with their mum one time in the McLaren Vale Foodland carpark: Dad 'Dom' in his wisdom chose not to 'press charges' on hearing my side of that story!

Subsequently, the $5.00 'Scarpo' Cleanskin Shiraz became a local institution to us Southern Vales boys: particularly worthy of mention is our erstwhile Willunga 'Middle Pub' host Mick Preiss, who loved the 'Scarpo' product, and promoted it like mad!

(Mad) Mick Preiss renovated that grand old pub to within an inch of its life, over a decent period, with a zeal which his best friends would have to concur - sometimes bordered on the manic!

Always remember that evening when Mick phoned me with the news that he'd just uncovered several long forgotten dozens of the venerable Scarpo product while I did, e I dide
delving in the old dirt cellar.

At whatever ungodly hour it actually was, I needed to come around pronto, to celebrate this incredible find!

Which, of course I did.age gad not wearied this drop at all! Thanks Mick, wherever you are.

Zoom to the present, and I'm sitting down to the incomparable Seafood pizza at Bongiornos in Norwood SA (nothing much else open in this City of Churches after 10 pm, or 9 for that matter, or, 8.00!

Wine list is offering $8 -9 glasses of Red, and I know we'll need at least a couple of these.

"Do you have a house wine" - "well yes, a Scarpantoni Shiraz 2015"

At a discount of around $2, that was a no brainer!

Splendid pizza, service, and one of the Vale's/ Flat's great time honoured offerings.

Have been here a couple of times in the past and always keep coming back. They are really great value and good prices on drinks. I always get the bulk port every time I'm there. You buy it in a 2l bottle and it equates to $8.50 per litre and tastes quite nice. The staff are really friendly and always Gogol with the tastings.

They are not stingy and are very polite plus they have quite a large range of options to cater for different people's tastes. Always recommended and I often bring friends visiting from interstate to this place along with a few others I like. I always end up leaving with multiple bottles of port/ wine etc from here.

One of my favourite wineries in the region. It always seems to be peaceful here and the wines - especially the fortified wines - are delicious.
